I tried starting up the game and this showed up.

you need to make sure that the launcher.exe is inside the pso folder 

for example c:\pso\launcher.exe

run the launcher as admin and make sure is not being blocked by the antivirus/firewall (we don't use PsoBB.exe anymore).

If the error persists try a fresh install/might be too outdated and easiest way to fix is with a fresh install.

it was avg blocking it
