Prices have fluctuated some since then and will continue to do some fluctuating. The current event is probably not the best time to try to make a trade like that. The value of Mille Marteux is lower when rare monsters are on, as both pieces are fairly easily farmable from rare monsters. Spread Needle, while also being notably harder to farm, is used in conjunction with the highly sought after Proof of Sonic Team easter event item to make the extremely sought after and very very powerful Arrest Needle. So right now the price on spread needle is much higher than normal while mille marteux is much lower than normal. Even if this were not the case, it would be difficult to make a trade of MM for SN without throwing in something extra. Currently hp is worth *maybe* 10 pds during rare monsters, so like 15 pds for a 35 hit mm, and with Proof of Sonic Team dropping right now I wouldn't be surprised to see a 35 hit spread needle go for 3 times that price currently, as that would make a great arrest needle.
