moorebounce Posted August 31, 2009 Share Posted August 31, 2009 I've been playing a while now and Photon Crystals are the hardest thing to get. I play a lot of ep4 and I've only gotten 2 so far. I go where these drop charts tell you to go and still no luck. Could it be my section ID is crappy for finding and enemies dropping Photon Crystals? Vypor Posted August 31, 2009 Share Posted August 31, 2009 Everyone get's PC's at the same rate. Normal and Hard Crater: Pazuzu, Dorphon Eclair, Merissa AA. Very Hard and Ultimate: Satellite Lizard, Area Box. The best way by far to get them, is to start a Maximum Attack quest on Episode 4 Normal. There's 3 quests, each of which has more of a certain type of enemy. 1st Max Attack: Merissa route. 2nd Max Attack: Zu route. 3rd Max Attack: Dorphon route. Choko Posted August 31, 2009 Share Posted August 31, 2009 I'm pretty sure the rare monster rate is the same in normal and hard, but personally I see a lot more rare monsters when I do max attack 4 on hard mode. So if you feel like you have terrible luck on normal, you can go ahead and try hard instead. And Vypor, Normal and Hard Crater: Pazuzu, Dorphon Eclair, Merissa AA. Merissa AAs are in the desert, not the crater.
