Alright, I guess I've been around long enough.... My turn.
I've been an avid Legend of Zelda fan for... *cough* decades...
So my main HUmar is LinkMy RAcast, Tank is very similar to what I imagined an army tank would look like if it could stand up and walk, so... Yeah, he's a tank.
Korr is from a movie called Wizards of the Lost Kingdom, although I wound up adding another "r" to it, thus getting my FOnewm.
Asylum is just some random name I threw in for my HUcast... (lol)And Vujadae is a reformation of Deja'Vu, a term for feeling like you've previously experienced what is currently happening, and she's a tough little HUnewearl.

OK, so I have 2 accounts, and it has been *FOREVER* since I logged in on one of them.
My main toon on that account is Vujadae, HUnewearl, Viridia ID. Uhm.... Can't remember GC#, can't remember password.

Hey guys, so I've been a LONG time member of Ultima, but it has been a while since I've played. I recently started up again and I can play the game with the normal launcher, PSOBB.exe, but when I attempt to launch with PSOBw.exe, the game crashes. I get a Windows 7/8 "Program has stopped responding. Windows will attempt to check for solution." screen, then the play window crashes and disappears completely. I would like to be able to launch the game in wide-screen, but will continue to play with the normal screen.

Spade, I've been a member on several PSO forums, (some of which died off as time went on) and this idea has been tossed around a few times...
Unfortunately, someone that managed to find out how to transfer their PSO data from their memory cards to their PC learned the hard way that the GameCube and the XBox use different file types with their data-encoding, which rendered the idea of copying their character from one to the other completely useless.
A shame, too, but there you have it.

Just went back to test the download. It works, but it downloads in two parts. You'll have to download the file merger (And they give you the link to it) to merge the files.

Apparently the download source link for the UltimaPSOBB_InstallerVr2.7 is not working, returning an "Error 404: Page cannot be found." etc.

I'm not able to provide screenshots because whenever I go to withdraw items from my Common Bank, the game crashes completely.
I can SEE a "????" glitched item but I can't remove it or anything else from the bank.
My GC is 42016320.
Since I can't retrieve any of my items, requesting any of them is just about a useless notion, so I suppose, just completely wipe my Common Bank on the account above.

I've checked, and you're right about the ACCOUNT_CHECK variable being the problem. There are no values assigned to it.
The box for the resolution is completely blank, and provides no options to be selected, and this seems like the source of the other problems - i.e. the game not remembering the username and password.
Edit: I have edited the ACCOUNT_CHECK variable, and it now says it is set to remember the username and password, but it does not.
I have also edited the ACCOUNT field and the game will remember the account name, but not the password.
This is by far one of the most unforgiving errors I have ever run into. (Annoyed glare at computer.)

OK, So I'm posting this for one of my team members, kingh3mp.
He's got a new laptop he bought (used) with Windows Vista on it, and when he runs PSO, it never remembers his username or password.
When he goes into the options menu to change the game to remember it, the Resolution box is blank, and has nothing to select.
When he selects the checkmark box for the "Save ID and Password", the game reports back: "No resolution selected" and does NOT save the checkmark.

I realize this is a bug, but I also think it's good for people that train mags, to be able to find them so easily.
Unfortunately also though, it means you don't get as high of a price for ones you train for people. *Facepalm.*

Sorry. I've had some computer problems lately, so I apologize for not being online lately.
I'm posting this from another computer, and I won't be able to play for almost a week... Until I get my laptop back up and running.

In theory, it shouldn't affect things too much if you forgot to make a backup.
HOWEVER! On occasion, you might find that the file you added to your game causes some kind of serious issue, or even damages the game.
With that being the case, you're rather screwed, and you'll have to find a source to download and replace the original file.

Interesting suggestions. Lots of weapons, boosts, techs, and re-modeling. They all sound like a good idea.
Casino? Check out Lobby #11 thru #15 on an original PSO server. They have a Jukebox and a (sort of) slot machine in those lobbys.
I don't know if we can port that functionality over, though. It seems that some of the features were lost when trying to set up this server from the original SEGA content. (I may be wrong. IDK)
