    Its been revised, I have a good mix of text and visual audio demonstration, better then nothing! for now anyways.

    I was running reshade PSO with the Witcher 3 4K while recording to OBS. Any modern medium end pc can run about 20 instances of PSO.

    Command list I shall add it. I really don't want to quote outdated old articles however defeats the purpose of what I am trying to put together here. A quick start and FAQ post, a place to redirect new players not overwhelm them with links lol.

    Hello all,

    This is a quick start post I have compiled for new people and individuals that may require a little extra information. Good luck with your hunts and if you are new here welcome to the server!

    IMPORTANT NOTE!!! IF YOU CANNOT MOVE PRESS F11!!!!


    LEVEL UP FAST:

    Sometimes 5X Experience is enabled making this even faster. Fastest way to level up is by spamming TTF VR (toward the future) until you are level 100. Then you can unlock CCA (central control area) by pressing the 3 switches at jungle-, mountain- and seaside area. Once you have unlocked cca you can rush/kill Gal Gryphon over and over again. He gives you the highest exp in game. do that till lvl 200

    COMMANDS:

    Usefull commands you will need! you can just enter them into the chat by pressing ENTER:

    /dropstyle 1   will change the dropstyle to individual drops so nobody will be able to steal your drops. you should do that asap!
    /bank      willl switch to a shared bank which can be access by all your 4 character on your account. execute it again to get back to your character bank
    /lobby     will exit every quest and put you to the lobby
    /map       will maximize the map if you need to check for something. execute it again to minimize
    /hh        will check if happy hour is active und how long it remains. happy hour (180 min duration) gives you a 3x times increased droprate. 1/90 will be 1/30 while hh is active

    TRADING:

    People on this server love to trade items. there is a whole market in the forum where you can sell/buy stuff.
    There are 2 currencies accepted by the players: Photon Drops (PDs)(THESE CAN BE FARMED IN GAME) and Donation Tickets (DTs) (THESE ARE FORUM ACCOUNT ONLY)

    PDs drop while playing or you can collect them at some quests ie. WOI EP2. DTs you can get by donating real money to the server or selling items.

                                                             1$ = 1 DT = 7.7 or 8 PDs Subject to negotiation not set in stone. DTs are the ultimate currency. 

    There are items that go for 2 PDs and others go for 500 DTs
    You can always ask at the chat box on the start page of the forum if you want to know the price of any item.

    I want the server to thrive and I play the game everyday I played at least 6 hours today alone. I give away gear to new people all the time. I certainly agree a wall of rooms with passwords really sucks for sure that is why I am going to put the focus on new people and retention through an organized Ultima quick start, FAQ and video tutorials. Forum trolls are everywhere in every community...

    Hello all,

    I think at this point we all know that things have been a  little slower then usual and many of us have seen friends come and go. I personally want to see this server flourish and I really think the only way it really can is if we all band together to list the things we love about this place and maybe some of the things we do not because we can learn from both. Format is simple: List a LIKE then list a CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM/solution. lets not turn this into a flame war and try to keep it relatively serious everyone's voice matters. Cheers.

    1. Like: I overall love the community here, I find for the most part the staff really cares about the well being of Ultima, I enjoy playing with all of you and after all this time I have no interest in other PSOBB private servers.

    2. CRITICISM: I do dislike the fact that new people are easily turned away from this extreme "learning and equipment required curve" EP2 is insane for new people.

    Solution: We need to try and do more as a community to make things easier for new people while of course actively recruiting(and keeping them), a quick start guide for new players with the FAQ and links to everything here. Lets really think outside the box on how to make the immediate experience of logging into PSOBB Ultima a lot easier, we have a lot of endgame tutorials however I believe we need to really focus on beginner to intermediate. I will do what I can in this regard.

    What is the best way to farm grinders?

    Grinders will not help much. Weapons with hit and enemy attribute %s will help, you really need to focus on a hit spread needle first imo somebody will give you a hit frozen shooter which will be good enough then you just need a set of mech guns like psycho ravens or even cheap dual birds or a no hit serene swan.

    Shoutout to Onyxdude TheIronSheik Sinowneo and (myself lol) . If anyone else out there has some stuff to donate go for it they deserve it. @R-78

    It's strange to me that out of all of this It's still somehow Triforce's fault your event never had a stronger presence? I have a family and a young daughter I did not have time to put towards this TA and to be honest I am very glad I didn't. You should probably funnel that resentment into something more positive like figuring out how to reward those that not only took part in this event but blew the times out of the water with synergy and not using the so called Meta HUcast. Congrats to the winners and new Kings and Queens of Ultima TA. 

     

    PS: @Starlord this was what I commenting on if you are confused. 

     

    Y'all should've participated because there are enough triforce members to have put together at least 1 or 2 squads. All the sudden the issue is gone and there'd be a proper winner. I am still shocked that none of you were interested in the prize pool.

    Clearly management skills, communication skills, commitment to the server, loyalty to the playerbase, level of respect of or by playerbase, humility,  or objectivity were not taken into account when larva decided to choose the latest GM. 

    congrats to the players that completely demolished the times using rangers.
