Undoubtedly a great QOL to have.
Lobbying without a quest
As far as I know, this is made artificially in 3 steps
1) Warp to pioneer II if initially on Ragol (not sure about this one)
2) Start a quest
3) Immediately exit the quest (Qexit)
So that'd still make 2 extra loadings for returning to lobby which would feel... a bit weird?
That aside, I don't like how it would make CCA farming more broken than it already is on Ultima.
Fast Bursting
I really wanted to see fast bursting, but this has a similar issue to the previous point...
While the time gain would be pretty much insignificant (although definitely welcome) to anyone who runs long quests, such time gain is going to be huge for "early resets".
I hate how some quests make it "play first room then /lobby" the most efficient way to grind stuff (PPP for Merikles, MA4 for Rappies, MADesert for Merissa/Girtablulus, LHB for Del Lilies etc...) so I really don't want to encourage that practice even more by making it even more OP and removing the top reason for NOT doing that.
Being able to have more than 4 characters per account
Was mentionned in staff on August 2019, Soly said it was tedious and sadly didn't get back on this.
Being able to have more than 999,999 meseta in a bank
This is not going to happen as long as meseta rooms are still a thing.
The same players would stay forever in the room since they'd want to fill all their banks, and one can only drop/pick 999,999 meseta a time.

This is only meant to remove all the numbers from players who already won something and decrease the chance of invalid rolls (i.e rolling a winner again).
That means you will be attributed new ranges of numbers for every round, as the upper generator bound gets lowered. The order won't change.
To make sure the results are not rigged, I will use a Discord Bot (Carl-bot) in order to roll the numbers.
Thus the rolls will happen live on Ultima official discord. I decided to make some modifications to S rewards (V1.15).
I don't know if this will change again, but I hope this is final.
- No longer possible to roll 0% attribute
- No longer possible to roll 0% hit (so minimum is now 5% if hit rolled)
- Chances at rolling hit increased from 1/5 to 1/3 (and each attribute decreased from 1/5 to 1/6)
- Chances at getting a TypeSH/Shot doubled (1/5)
- Chances at getting higher % values no longer reduced (except for 90 hit case)- Available specials are now all high tiers (13 possibilities instead of 40)
- Some of the weapons were replaced (see table below)SpoilerPerharps this still "isn't worth your time" to grind 1h30 for a single attempt at one of those rewards.
But I want to say that if you're not here for the fun, then you might as well pass and not play this quest :$
These rewards were never meant to be extraordinary, in fact I was not even sure about adding rewards to the quest when I made it.
But I figured it would be nice to give some small bonus to whoever dared defying the Abyss and making it to the very end, so I accepted to buff them.For more clarity, this is the list of Type weapons respectively available in the quests Beak's Cafe, Beach's Laughter, and the changes brought to Capital of The Unreturned.

You'd get 1/XXXX chance time the number of unlocked rewards, and XXXX the number of tickets left that haven't won anything yet.
I highly suggest that anyone who has cards bid double digits in the raffle.
If not, it could be worth buying some cards for it.
Some might regret not participating.

For people who still wonder NYC's value (I thought someone else would do it) :
On the hit basis, 40 NYC = 20 hit = 15 DTs
1 DT = 2.67 NYCOn a special basis, 15 NYC = 1 special = 10 DTs
1 DT = 1.5 NYCSo for this month, any price is fine because a raffle ticket value cannot be mathematically defined, but starting from March, the cost of NYCs should never exceed 1 DT for 1.5 NYC.

For a long time, Yellowboze had an unfair advantage to get hit% more often than any other section ID in episode II.
Today, the chances of rolling hit% have been adjusted to be equal for all section IDs.
The following changes only apply to Episode II weapon drops on Ultimate, and is about odds that said weapon rolls hit attribute.
It does not affect the actual values you will get.

For example some of us just learnt not that long ago that some government quest is more efficient than any other quest for Dark Gunners because it had a very early room that had some. Before that, everyone would always run PTS because they wrongly thought it was best. Did you know that? I bet not.

Proof that you didn't read after all then... I did say "this year". Not "this christmas event".
And also proof that this was ridiculously easy: you've made 500 new year cards in a single week.
Keeping this rate for more than 4 weeks of event means you could have made 2,000+ New year cards in a single Event.
2,000 NYCs = 1,000% hit, which is a 750 dts worth.
And you think... That wasn't enough?
That's what you would get from selling 2 PGFs.
Most people who farmed the PGF all the event got only one (if not zero).
A couple last words, I should not even have to justify myself.
NYCs have always been a risky gamble that you take.
No one ever promised that they would serve godly purposes, so at least be grateful that you can redeem hit, because it could have been something worse or which you don't see the use (between mags, armor upgrades or whatever, you hardly "don't need %hit").
Now I am asking you to keep the drama away from this topic.
I will not repeat.

Yes the cost "doubled", but also the cards are more than twice easier to farm than they used to be.

1722 NYCs were redeemed on 2018. And that included all the years prior since it was the first NYC event.

More than 5,000.
And that was not even half of what dropped that year.
Technically we could as well have it "1 NYC for +80 hit".
But make NYC drop rates abysmal.

If you are going to complain about the prices, at least consider the difficulty of the drop as well if you wanna stay relevant.

NEW YEAR CARDS 2023
It is now possible to redeem your New Year Cards!
Some history, feel free to skip.
First of all... Thanks to everyone for not asking me everyday about NYCs, I appreciate :'D (got asked 4 times on the first day but then it was relatively calm).
Some of you may remember, I decided to make some use of NYC for the first time in 2018.
Before that, NYC were totally useless, and the only response ever given to "What are NYC used for?" was
"To wish your friends a happy new year".
Since then, I've made a different event for NYCs every year.
And every year, the NYCs became easier and easier to farm.
This was in order NOT to make it unfair between the new players and old veterans who keep saving their NYCs from previous Christmas events. And that is also the reason why I always suggested everyone to use their NYCs as long as they see an use in it, and never think that way "Okay that's cool but I'm expecting something better next year so I will save my NYCs for now".
I only did one mistake: that is the NYC drop rate on Gulgus-Gue during Christmas Event 2021.
My idea was to make NYCs farmable in every level (that does not already involve an Olga Flow) but I miscalculated the top ratio of Gulgus-Gues that you can farm in a given time.
So I had to nerf Gulgus-Gue drop rate by a 1.8 factor this year, and this is the only time NYC drop rate ever got nerfed (while all the other 9 NYC locations drop rates were slightly buffed).
I don't know if I will keep doing NYC events every year, but in any case we'll need to empty the server of them now. Making them any easier will just result in a hassle to store your hundreds of NYCs and services prices increases.
It is hard to make things balanced as it changes every year, and make it so everyone can get something cool (regarding the huge disparities between players...) instead of just the rich ones.
So back to the main subject:
For this 6th New Year Cards edition, 3 services are available.
HIT ADDITION Redeem 10 NYC to add 5% hit on any of your weapons
- Cannot exceed 80% hit
- No attributes relocation
- Can reset any attribute to 0% if needed / wanted
- Cannot be added to ES weapons (commonly referred as "S-rank weapons")
SPECIAL ADDITION Redeem 15 NYC to add or change the Special of your choice
- Must be a weapon that has no default special
- ES weapons are excluded
- Only common specials can be added (no Zalure etc)

The order of these numbers decides the order from which players are to pick their prize.
If a generated number lands on a player who already won something, it gets ignored.
This goes on until all rewards are depleted or there are no more participants.
You are not allowed to have other people bid your own NYCs as separate persons.
CONSOLATION PRIZES
You will receive some Donation Tickets if you bid more than 77 NYC but were not lucky enough to get any of the above rewards.
Consolation prize is calculated from the following:DTs = ⌊(X-70)/8⌋ with X the number of NYC you bid.
Examples:- You bid 63 NYCs, got no reward. Not eligible for consolation prize.
- You bid 524 NYCs, got no reward. Receive 56 DTs as consolation prize.
You have until February, 28th of 2023 to place bids for the raffle.
You have until October, 31st of 2023 to redeem hit or specials.
ATTENTION: All New Year Cards will get erased after these, so make sure to use ALL OF THEM.
Feel free to ask a GM (mostly Fyrewolf5 or R-78) for NYC redeems.

If you wish to redeem Donation Tickets as well, let we know so we can do all at the same time.
Do not wait for the last day to redeem your NYCs with a GM, we won't be responsible for your loss if you cannot catch a GM in the last minutes.

There is nothing dangerous about that command, it just lets you use a 5th bank per account that is shared between all your 4 characters.
So you didn't do anything wrong using /bank.
I can still see items in every bank of your GC, so can you be more specific about what you've lost?
