How active is this server compared to 2014-2015? I've been gone for a long time. xD

Any advice for hunting Red Sword or Chain Sawd as a Skyly HUney? Areas/Quests? I'm either level 138 or 139 and my strongest weapon is a VIVIENNE +50, need something to deal decent damage to multiple monsters at once. Or would I be better off going straight for SJS/Lame D?

I just need 12 more Power mats and 31 Luck mats and my plan will be complete mat wise. I only have 9 PDs left, but I hope that'll be enough? Any takers?

I get the feeling that this is the most used and thus the hardest to find material, but I'm willing to buy 90 Power Mats for 18pd (5m:1pd ratio).

Actually, when I used /matreset twice and changed blocks, I kept my HP mats.

Wait, so HP/TP mats are completely independent of, say Power/Mind mats, right? I can just quaff all the HP mats I've got without worrying?

How many Mind Mats can I have my FOnewm imbibe before his MST stat won't improve?

Wait, setting the dropstyle to individual drops lowers the drop rate? This is news to me! At any rate, my main concern is getting XP. With two of the easiest ways to get XP being in Ep2 and nuking being useless there, not to mention the problems with nuking in Ultimate, what's the point of remaining a FOnewm? Yes, it has its niche settings, but overall, is it good? And is it still(?) good once I've reached 200?

If you guys see me whining in the forums or in-game, don't mind me. I'm just having a midlife crisis about whether I should stay a FOnewm or not. I've been getting so many answers lately that I don't know what to think.

I've pretty much decided that I'm going to get Terashi the best gear he can have and see how he does with that before deciding whether or not to swap him for a different class. So, since I'm keeping my HUney regardless, what kind of gear should I get for her? Assume she has no rares atm.

I need the following to not suck in Ultimate. Glide Divine Inferno Cloak Resta Merge As many Mind Mats as I can get 29/150 I think Might need some HP mats, too. Or TP mats. Not sure how that works or what'd be best for me. List your prices. If I don't have what I need to pay for it, I will work toward earning more. I do have some rares I can sell, but nothing too amazing. Earned them in normal play.

154, and I've been doing nuke + support. Only problem with that is that nuke only works half the game and other forces do support way better. Don't see the point of doing melee as a force when hunters and some rangers do it way better. My main problem is that I'm useless in CCA, which is the easiest way to get to 200, since Ep2 mobs resist offensive techs, as do Mines and Ruins mobs. And yeah, being able to do more than 300 damage with a single RA spell would be nice, because at this rate in Ultimate I have to repeatedly spam spells to kill a single enemy. It's annoying, especially since my love for nuking stems from easy kills that I don't have to move my character around much to accomplish. But what I want is unrealistic, so I'm trying to decide on a class that performs well in ultimate, because apparently FOnewms just don't. And yes, gear is part of my problem. I have Clio, Striker of Chao, the three elemental wands, a rafoie merge, a Tripolic Shield, an Aura Field, a Congeal Cloak and a Tempest cloak, a V801 with three God/Minds, and a 141 MIND mag. Come to think of it, maybe it's my build that's the problem and not my class. Hell, I've only consumed 29 mind mats. But then, from what I've been told, weapons are way more powerful than techs, to the point of being overpowered.

Okay. I have done a lot of thinking about this. This game is very nostalgic for me and has a lot of fond memories. Nuking as a FOnewm shaped the way I saw this game when I played it on the Gamecube. However, if I want to get to level 200 and be of actual use to people, nuking isn't the way to do that. It only works for half of the game, it has problems with damage cancel and monster reactions, and the rares for it are expensive and hard to find (though that last one is probably true regardless). So, after much deliberation, I have decided to give up on Forcery altogether. Now Support magic is still not only viable, but essential, but doing only that is boring af. Still, because of that, I'll probably go to being a human instead of a newm (since the only male newm is a force), so, the only question remaining is whether I should be a HUmar or a RAmar. I'm sure there are pros and cons to both of these options, so please give me your opinions. All of them. I'm going to need a lot of information in order to make a permanent decision. Now, I'm not dissing the HUney. I have one of those. But I'm talking about changing Terashi specifically, from a FOnewm to one of the two options above. Also, please don't mention soloing. I'll mostly be playing with other players.

Only problem with that is, the hell is the point in playing alone in a multiplayer game that you have to go online to play regardless? Might as well team up.

That does help, and that's one more thing I'll hafta hunt/trade for, but that's cool. I just get annoyed when magic AoE isn't as viable as other methods. I would go complaining about balance, but you guys can only do so much with this old of a game to work with. So is it 10% for ignition/20% for congeal/30% for tempest or does it work some other way? I would do Ep4, but it's not as nostalgic. Not as familiar with it as 1/2. I imagine a lot of people have that problem, though.
