Himcules Posted August 5, 2011 Share Posted August 5, 2011 I'm extremely upset, I been farming this rare spawn in hope of getting a Star Amplifier so I can make a Twinkle Star for my force. After finally getting the drop today I go to the tekker and the item turns out to be a Frozen Shooter instead of a Star Amplifier, I checked various drop charts in Ulitmate Forest for the Star Amplifier drop and instead I got a frozen shooter. Himcules Posted August 5, 2011 Author Share Posted August 5, 2011 I was hunting with my brother who was a whitill and I was the one who made the room on my Pinkal. The Hildtorr killed me and on my way back thru the pipe my brother was able to kill the hildetorr and it dropped a frozen shooter instead of a star amp. chuk Posted August 6, 2011 Share Posted August 6, 2011 My guess is that at some point, you left the room and rejoined afterwards, making the room ID your brother ones (withill drops Frozen Shooter ). redinferno Posted August 6, 2011 Share Posted August 6, 2011 I've seen this once before myself while hunting a heaven punisher. I believe this could just be a bugged room, a hildetorr dropped a frozen shooter for me once instead of hp. The room was made by bluefull and the id did not leave, just an unfortunate thing. Its supposed to be the person who made the room that decides the drop table. EDIT: On a side note, I have farmed the Star Amplifier on a different quest and I was able to get it on my Pinkal on the first try. I now offically have reason to believe the quest Wraith of the Forest is bugged at least as far as that one mob is concerned.
