Brand new, can't log in.

Hi. I'm a brand new member.

I just downloaded the full PsoBB client from the downloads section on the website, and patched once I ran the Vonline.exe (using Windows Vista here).

Entered my user name and password under the RegisterID selection, then hit Start Game.

It asks me to press Enter, and then it gives me this message,

"Your client executable is too old.

Please update you client through the patch server."

When I re-run the client, and try to patch again, it says that I am fully patched.

What do I need to do to be able to log in?

Never mind. I managed to get in using the Online.exe instead.

Met a few nice people, too.

Enjoying the server so far.

Hey I just joined today and I updated using Vista.exe (since I'm still on vista) and used PsoBB.exe to update my game. When I try to open the online.exe it tells me "failed to update files."

Is there something overlooked or should I try to redownload all the files? What do you guys suggest?

Never mind, I tried installing where the installer suggested and for some reason it works now. I'm not going to ask questions just going to enjoy the game. Thanks anyway guys .

try to redownload the patch 2.6 and replace the files and then run the game with online.exe erase vonline.exe and vista.exe and voption.exe no need of them any more. with patch 2.6
