In Game Chat problem

I seem to have this problem where during a game of PSO, it won't let me type. I hit the spacebar, but whenever i try to type something, it doesnt show up. THis also happens whenever I try to make my own game. So, this pretty much prevents me from making my own game or communicating with anyone on the server. Anyone else have this problem and have they figured out a solution to it?

What Operating system are you using?

Vista?

Or XP?

For Vista, you need to use vonline.exe to play the game.

And for XP, you need to use online.exe.
