I Can't Name My PSO Char In Char Creation

I just downloaded PSO Ultima, registered and logged in and whenever I keep trying to create a character it doesn't let me type a name in.

I can't even start the game, anyone know what I can do to fix this?

I'm pretty sure it is, I think I saw something like that earlier.

But just in case, how do I change it to the correct setting?

the keyboard must be english (US) change it and apply.

Ok I'm not totally sure you can set this since you're not on XP like me but try this if you remember seeing these settings anywhere.

It should look like this.

Input language:

English (United States)

Keyboard layout/IME:

Set it to whatever your default keyboard language is, it's usually defined by region. For example, mine is Canadian Multilingual Standard.

[EDIT] I highly doubt re-installing will change anything.

also remeber if you are using Vista ore Windows 7 , you most start the game with the shortcut vonline.exe
