desire
ok so my friend wants to play this but when he does he seems to lag a lot. its hard to explain but basicly from my screen he kind of takes half steps then freezes then takes another "half step" and so on when hes "running" we carried out an experiment in lobby 15 and i managed to run from one side to the other and back again in the time it took him just to run from one side to the other. ok so his graphics card (which coincidently happens to be the same as mine, and i dont lag at all) is: mobile intel® 965 express chipset family the only difference is we have different drivers and hes not able to download my driver because his computer manufacturer is "toshiba" where as mine is "hp" that said his driver is the most up to date he can get. im not sure on his other specs such as RAM and processor but im pretty sure he has atleast 1gb RAM and 2.4gbz processor (probably alot higher im not sure, but i can find out) but this shouldnt be an issue since they easily meet the reqs. Final note; he plays with all the graphics options set to lowest and doesnt have anything else running at the same time. soo what can we do to fix this lol? any ideas? thanks for reading

desire
coincidently again he has the same internet as me which is sky internet(England), same speed, both 8mb and they supply the router so we have the same lol. it isnt great internet but it works for me i also use a wireless connection and play from my laptop soo i dont think its that. his signal is fine and after testing other online games the problem doesnt seem to be his internet. personaly im thinking theres a problem with his computer and he may be able to fix it by re-formating or something (i dont think hes willing to do that though) i was just wondering if anyone else had similar issues and if there was a way they got around it. thanks again

Larva
and about the driver of video. he can go to the site of intel and found the newest driver dont matter if toshiba says is the most new . if he find a newest driver in the intel site he can use it. that's go also for you. Choko
You may also want to have him check and make sure that he doesn't force AA or anything else from his graphics card menu. If he has it enabled and you don't, there is a good chance that could be the difference.

You may also want to have him check and make sure that he doesn't force AA or anything else from his graphics card menu. Sorry, I couldn't really help.

desire
try go to the BIOS of the laptop and assign more MB of ram to the video card. its flexible so it automatically assigns an amount it needs and there for cant be changed through bios, so i read after some intense googling lol. i also doubt hed be willing to mess with BIOS since he hasnt done anything like that before. i guess well have to try cleaning his computer up
