I have read every post from this topic. yeah even the ones from Pin LOL .. I know the server is very low in population and donations right now. And i feel this is my fault, because i been absent very absent this weeks, and is not the first time that we are in this situation, when im get absent always happens this. A true fact is that other aspects and decitions helped to be down the hill. For example , GM's we only have one GM right now because they quit , they dont handle the presure. we need to improve thing like de DAM Rollbacks a better fast response to the player. i will try to be more active but my daily life dont help me much on this. well now to the topic right.
about HH i think we did what it was needed to be done in the time. And now we are on diferent time so we have to do something now. HH will be back . I think two time a week will be good BUT with diferent schedule (speaking srever time) one day will be in the morning this will help thouse who plays with a really different server time. and the other day will be as it was before around 3pm. i will make a compleate topic about it with the schedule.
about the LK. dont even want to get back to this. to many prons and cons and we will never get a majority opinion.
about the exp x3 this is a open topic but not for now. Lets see what happen in the server after activing HH.
Alright, that's fine by me on the HH aspect. I'm not too picky about when it is, only that it is implemented on a regular basis once again. I'd love to just the server flourish once more.
The LK38 will never be settled. LOL

HH as a social event is a good thing but what about the players that can never connect during those hours? (which is why the random hours might make it more fair) And about the trade lists eating dust, isn't it because of the split in the trade center section? I see quite some B/S> topics with responses and trades.
This is why I suggested a movement of HH time once in a while for those players that can't. A schedule if you will of pssibly Morning HH's, Midday HH's, Afternoon HH's, evening HH's, and even Night HH's. Of course this is just an idea. Sculpt it as you like.
And your right chuk, there is a fair amount of Buying and Selling, but from the looks of it it seems to be only top notch stuff which the newer and players with less time to spend in game cannot afford.

Zeph, there's no need to triple or even double post. Just organize your post so people can tell who you're responding to. You can always edit your post if you see something after you posted, and your post is still the newest one.

I made a post like a long time ago saying whats going on with the server no lk 38 combo? rr impossible to get? no hh? lowering exp after 159? im surprised they couldnt think of another gunshot to the players to commit server suicide. I told yall this would happen and all u punks said was shut up Pin you dont know what your talking about Shut up Pin stop complaining. Well tell me this when the fuck do you start to complain? I myself stopped playing because of these new changes and most of my friends too. Personally if the business im donating to says fuck me why would i donate to keep it going? Give us back what made us play Ultima in the 1st place. And duh it is the case that certain people will try to suggest changes to Larva just for their own interest of staying on top because people are that messed up in this world. You must have discernment Larva!!! Weed out the b.s and look at the facts here.
No, I was against removing HH and the exp from the beginning, and I know many others were. It's more like the government needs to listen to it's people more than a business screwing over it's clients. Once Larva opened up the server to the public there was another voice in the circle; the people's. If there weren't people there wouldn't be a community which is why I have not left yet. You're right though that this was inevitable. We did complain about HH and exp leaving but I don't really think we were heard. But now, it is much easier to get the heads to listen to us now that we have proof that the server's economy and community suffered a good blow. I mean just look at it.
Some ppl still can't see the reality. Chuk you don't even play,and it did affect the economy, BADLY! The trades are dead, COMPLETELY DEAD! I'm here every day and I can see how bad it is.
This is very true Chuk. The prices may be the same but the trades are very dead.
well all i read its just complain with hh or not hh its the same thing if you want to hunt somthing go go and hunt for it,
when i started i tried to hunt a HP and you know it took me like 2 months all these new people want drops easy......when i started here theres no hh sometimes drops x2 but rarely so well thats my opinion
its a game doesnt matter the drop just enjoy hunting em and dont use as escuse the drop rate make people quit when any other pso servers drops are low, like i said if you have time to hunt something thats the point of it, you value more the item youre hunting...........its kind useles cry about drop rate, if the item drops you can get it, thats all.
about the hh well maybe 1 per week but not 3 hours, less thats too much time i know its good to get help while hunting for somthing but well x3 drop thats a bit much it take the fun of hunting (thats really makes people quit em get everything what they want that easy and then quit i meet some new users and at the first month playing here il see em with dm df or anything like that and then quit...) i know some of them are donators or maybe em get em by trade so that means either trades are dead, either drop rate its low its normal drop rate and well personally like it like it its, its cool to hunt lame at midnight when im free or something to add my shop.
Biza, we're not talking about easy drops here for the sake of easy drops. We're talking about an event that used to bring people to the server. Obviously it wasn't JUST because of HH. PSO IS a good game, and Ultima IS a good server. That's just a fact, but HH made the trade lists flourish, kept the moral high with anticipation. Hell I used to just SIT in lobby DURING HH because so many people were on and I'd want to partake in the flourishing community. HH isn't about the items yall. It's about the people!

pso is boring, when u have everything u need like niyuki the game is more boring. but whats the point of playing.

Yeah, 2 times a week was a lot of HH time. I think 1 time a week is enough; however, I think every now and then the time and date need to be changed for those that can't make it to the HH.

Well, LK38 WAS kind of over powered. I still think we should be able to unlock it during prestige or something. But that's another topic for another time.

Well it's not so much that I want easy items back. Its more that I want the thriving community back more than anything. People come and go so much and many dedicated players left for pso2 since HH and Exp dropped after 159 so we need HH more than ever to keep Ultima Strong. Ultima is strong still, but it's community doesn't flourish nearly as much as it used to.

Well I know this is going to be a very a debated topic and that I'll probably get flamed by a few players for this, but this need to be said regardless as agreed with a few other players players.
First of all let's just explain what HH for all the new people in case you don't know. HH is an event that the majority of the population of Ultima look forward towards. HH is an event where all Rare drops are multiplied times 3. HH would come on once or twice a week for a few hours at a time. This would enable players to hunt various Rares to their discretion with an increased chance to find said these Rares. Which is good for some of the more difficult to find drops. SJS for example is normally a drop of 1/21276 from Gi Gue, but with HH in effect it is reduced to a drop rate of 1/7092. Still pretty low on the chance of finding one, but none the less much more easily obtained. Now with that said I'd like to discuss reasons why I would like to see HH back into effect.
My first reason is, who doesn't like increased drop rates except for those that have already put their time into hunting the more elusive Rares before HH was implemented (Which seemed to make up the majority of the people that didn't like HH) Once Happy Hours were on a regular weekly schedule people knew when to expect them, and the server was brimming with players during these few hours. Even after wards players were still on so all the trading could occur. I often saw a second ship appear during these hours. Sixty players easy during Happy Hours. My reason for stating this is because even though I have just come back recently I've noticed that the number of players is significantly less and also many of the regulars are gone (Many good friends). I'm not saying that this is going to bring older players back with certainty, but I do say that this will at least give another reason for players to come back and newer players to stick with the game longer. I know that many of the players moved to PSO2, but that just gives even more reason to bring back HH on a regular basis since PSOBB must compete with it's predecessor.
My second reason is the thriving economy that Happy Hours created when it was around on a common basis. I was not on this server too long before happy hours were implemented, but I was here long enough to see the large boost to the replies in trade lists when it first came into effect. I eventually created my own and had plenty of responses on a weekly basis. Instead of actually having to hunt down Rares that I certainly didn't have the ID for I could center a lot of my attention and limited game play time I had available into HH and trade amongst the other players. I bring this up now because since I have come back I have not seen a thriving Trade List section. I have a modest Trade List, but there are still some very good items in there. However, I have not had a response in the last few weeks now that I have been back. Nor has my Trade List needed a bump ever since I've been back which is very unusual since it used to be so common place. I would log into the forums and noticed that I've been bumped back a page in one day due to all the trades occurring and have to bump with an Update.
I'm not sure why HH isn't on a regular basis anymore other than the fact that many players had stashes of certain items, but if that's the case I don't see a problem with it other than lowering the prices of several items. Having a large availability is not a bad thing. If it IS actually because of the availability being so high and players being able to get exactly what they want and thus not donating as often then let me say the following. In my view happy players create more donations, unhappy players create a lower moral and less reason to stay on Ultima thus lowering donations. I would assume this is a possible reason why the server was or is running on zeros lately.
HH makes a up a larger portion for the decline, but I have to say that when the experience boost was cut from level 160-199 this was just a slap in the face to go along with the loss of the beloved event. Many of the players would appreciate Ultima to return to normal times 3 experience.
I love PSO. I love Ultima even more, and so do many others. I wish to see it thrive once more. Many of us would love if this could be put to a vote. I just speak for a portion of players that love Ultima. Please take this into GREAT consideration. Those of you that agree please share your thoughts. I also urge players to speak their opposing view as well if there are any. There are always two sides to the same coin.

I've noticed many of the skins links aren't available anymore, and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a majority of these. I was wanting to get the tower skin, and the forest night time skin, but I seem to be having trouble locating these.

Ha I awkwardly solo'd alot when I first joined the server a week ago, but you'll find that the community is so close-knit and these guys play it so much most of them will help you level and give you rare items and meseta just for the hell of it XD. My in-game name is Kyto, I'm a Hucast, if you ever want to quest I'm level 45 I think.

Well, since many people argued about the possibillity to do pw4 with a lvl 1 RAmar on ultimate on ultima.
I'v decided to give it a shot xD
Why did it fail?
- One mistake results in a guaranteed death.
- High EVP on monsters.
- Though to max a lvl 1 RAmar in ATA (also can't use RR or any good shield).
- No acces to 'effective' techniques.
- No actual dammage beacuase of low ATP.

I believe the ability to feed your mag weapons originally came from Phantasy Star Zero. Feed it not only items, but weapons, armor, and discs as well. I really like the idea, seeing as you can really just feed your mag things you found in battle, and not really have to spend meseta.
Well in essence this is spending meseta, you just happen to cut out the middle man.
