Hello to you all, I hope your PSOBB experience is enjoyable. I star this topic becasue I'd like some explanation about the greenhill/vhard/pofouilly slime's drop, supposed to be the cure/paralysis with a 7/8 chance of dropping, and ththat didn't drop during the happy hours. When you think about it, 21/8 should do, mmh? I was alone in the room, greenhill, in vhard, and I'm positive it was the happy hours, yet the red slime dropped a difluid. That's not even abnormally bad luck. Are the happy hours messing up the drops? Or is it that the Ultima server modified this drop alongside wihte a few others? Please answer me or I'll go nuts.

I think Happy hours increased drop rate messes up 1/2 and 7/8 drop rates (not exactly sure why, but it does that). The happy hour did not make it 21/8 (logically it would, but it doesn't). I think how the drop rate is actually increased glitches the number of really common drops. The server generates a number and looks it up on a table. Now the drop rate increase divides the said number, in this case by 3) (and yes, you want the roll to be as low as possible). This is what determines if you get the rare of not:
"rare_roll < rare_rate"
So if the random number is less than the rare rate you get your rare. It's probably dividing too low or something which is messing it up for the extremely common ones.
All other drops are fine (most in the game). If you want a 1/2 and 7/8 drop, don't try on happy hours, your bound to get it easily. As long as the drop rate doesn't equal 1/1 or greater you should be fine (basically 1/3 drop rates or higher).

I completed every quest possible for forest, then I defeated the dragon. However, there are no cave quests in the guild. Only just all my completed forest quests. Please help me! Thanks in advance
Try completing the government quests (the forest ones) in team mode as well. Caves quests will probably unlock after that. ^^

not only the memory issue, the Time attack brokes!.. as you see in the image it says 9 hours and it only took me 2 sec to get to De Rol LOL /warpme command.
and im sure theres more it will present more issue that i dont event know yet.
so i prefer to keep a stable server. lol
I'm not exactly sure what quest your playing, but don't a lot of Sega quests have something built in to them that knows if your doing them too fast?
Basically, you broke it by warping. XD

Jokes on you cause I used the client from Soda's page to test. I crashed a lot and thought reinstalling PSO would help. Didn't help one bit. XD
A'hem, not my fault. -blames laptop that can suprisingly play way better grafical games than pso just fine-

Well, I'm not completely sure on my fail coding. My laptop crashes everywhere in pso regardless pretty much, didn't happen with vista really. I always crash in different spots. I'll have to get someone else to test it to be sure. ;-;
Also, you could always help me by pointing out crashes and mistakes that I don't know about. >.>
Edit: Woot, did respective tomarrow and Olga flow crashes just as he does with my quest. Soo, yay not my fault. XD

there was no corrupted file, there was never anything useful to begin with, he couldn't even find a command and had just taken existing quest started spamming eneies on it for less time then it takes a shadow backup to be made which is about 2 mins (probably TTF which is what every idiot dives on to edit, which is asmusing because it's by far one of the most patched toghter and bypassed quests made by sega and even the slightest bad edit can screw it to hell), now would you like to stop editing my posts before i get larva to edit a few of yours talk about being buthurt about the truth.
He wasn't doing aything different he was just doing the same crap every idiot before him has done.
And as i pointed out in a previous post that butthurt mod wiped out, "rika's guides" contain very little information actually contributed by him and most of it is just lifted from the wiki, myself, cry0 soulja and slyphos.
Qedits shadow save cannot corrupt like that lol... your speaking to one of the devs who worked on the program not the random forum tards who like to edit out posts because I hurt someones feelings telling them they are too stupid to use a program that takes a degree of assembly knowledge to use in the first place.

Now to adress the idiot moderator:
pointing out that someone stole information and then slapped their name on flaming does not make. comprende, or would you like that in spanish because i'm sure i could get larva to translate ot for me.
erasing relvent information about a program developed by our team flaming does not make, ie random forumtard cannot find a command therefore qedit must be broken, it's not.
erasing my all i posts but not erasing subsequent ones made by others shows bias not objective moderating.
This carries on and i'll just request larva pulls all links to our software from the forum.

Anyway, yay I'm working on another quest that I started in august, but neglected till today. I hope I actually bother to finish it. It would help if PSO stops crashing for no reason. >.>;;;;;;

It's just my indirect way of loling at the ass-kissers in this topic, most of which I'm fairly certain are close to useless (be offended I dare you lol), but then what do you expect from the pso community. This topic is just asking for lolrandoms to beg, borrow and steal to get gm.
