Shields in general have far more evp than defense, but even then, most rare shields require level 100+ (you won't find any shield below lvl 101 with more than 75-85dfp). Your best bet is probably Attribute Wall (75-85dfp, lvl 41, 30efr/eic/eth 5edk/elt, all classes), which has excellent resists and stats at a very low level. Other options are: Secret Gear (75-85dfp, lvl41, 30efr/eth 20eic, all classes) DB's Shield (67-77dfp, lvl66, 25efr/eth 30eic, hu/ra) Custom Barrier v00 (65-75dfp, lvl66, 30efr/eth 28eic, all classes) These are at best only marginally better than non-rare shields such as Divinity Barrier (44dfp, 27efr/eth 30eic, lvl 63 all classes), Ultimate Shield (47dfp, 30efr 28eic/eth, lvl 67, hu/ra), Spiritual Shield (50dfp, 28efr/eic/eth, lvl 71 hu/ra), Celestial Shield (52dfp, 30efr/eic/eth, lvl 75, hu/ra). The best shields for dfp are Red Ring (150-235dfp, 30efr/eic/eth 5edk/elt, lvl 150, all classes), De Rol Le Shield (180dfp, 5efr 10eic 15eth 20elt, lvl 102, all classes, crap resists), and Standstill Shield (163-213dfp, 20efr/eth 27eic, lvl 125, hu/ra). tl;dr The extra dfp you will get from upgrading your shield at those levels will be so minimal it will have no practical effect. Suggest just sticking with attribute wall until you can get a red ring eventually, maybe using standstill at 125 if fire damage is not a problem, or kasami bracer at 112 if you want an extra 35 atp and don't mind losing 2 efr/eic/eth and 5edk/elt.
