I play with the xbox controller all the time, all you really need is the drivers installed and the controller plugged in when you start the client. The game is controller friendly, so if you're not at the very least running with the left joystick in lobby, then i'm not sure what could be wrong. The things to check for is you're running game as admin, the first player light is on, on the controller before you start it up to indicate that it's plugged in and working, and have it plugged in when you click to launch the game. The drivers are of course needed, they should have installed when you plugged in the controller into the USB slot with windows update.

I just got my controller working, and I can configure everything fine, except for the menu D-Pad selection, and getting the Analogue Sticks to work at all. Any suggestions?

Edit: What is Pad POV Axis? I think that has something to do with using the D-Pad to Select Menu items, which is a step in the right direction, still nothing on Analogue Sticks. :(
