farlane Posted October 6, 2013 Share Posted October 6, 2013 (edited) Trying to download this on a friends computer right now and we have it installed and the account created. But it keeps downloading the same patch over and over and won't get passed iit. It says patch complete and then closes when we press enter, but when we start it up again it starts downloading the same "PsoBW.pat" Any idea on how we can get passed this? EDIT: Tried using the patch download button from the first menu and now the game doesn't even start. The first menu comes up and now when we hit start game it just closes and doesn't even start. EDIT 2: After an hour we got it to work. Needed to restart the computer a few times and even rest the password too. Fixed the closing problem by changing the resolution. Nessly Posted October 7, 2013 Share Posted October 7, 2013 Glad you got it fixed! It's a little strange sometimes with a fresh install. If you run the PSOBB.exe instead of online.exe it should patch properly. After, you can run online.exe with no problems. Just for the record, you can also just copy your game directory and paste it to any computer and it'll work just fine also. No need to use the installer.
