    What are the items?

    Is there a special quest in any of the event counters? I haven't found one.

    Sooo... 4th time i've posted here but, what are we supposed to hunt to get the sword? I hope I didn't over look it.

    I'm not sure if there is more to the event, but here is a quote from the Ultima steam group:

    -The East Tower quest is the best place to hunt for the new Meriltas items (only the first two rooms)

    -The end bosses are dropping the fabled pieces of gear, so get a group together!

    Hi there Ultima folks, well today I will be posting my giveaway. The reason I am quitting is because PSO really got boring and I do NOT feel like playing it anymore. Anyway how the giveaway will work is, I will be using a site called random.org. How I'll be doing is I will be letting people post until Friday, after that NO MORE POSTS. Then Saturday I will do the raffle and if the raffle lands on your number, then I'll forum PM you saying what item you like and ONLY ONE ITEM.

    Here are the rules:

    1. No more than ONE POST. If you have more than one, you will be automatically out of the giveaway.

    2. You can not beg for items. Doing so will get you out of the giveaway.

    3. You can choose ONE ITEM from my Tradelist. Even my Equips..

    4. The forum PM that I will send you will say " Congratulations, you are one of the players that were randomly chosen, I will let you choose ONE ITEM from my Tradelist. "

    5. Whatever number your forum post is what your number will be, that is why you can only have one post.

    Thiis'll be my entry in the raffle. Thanks for doing this. Hope you're not leaving due to drama.

    I tried quitting once due to time constraints, but I've learned to manage it and prevent it from becoming an addiction like before. When I initially left Scththack, I did a similar raffle type of thing where people had to enter PSO related jokes for their entries to be qualified. Here I am, back again playing a year later. >.<

    What's to say you won't want to jump on and play for a bit months or years down the line? If you have personal reasons / needs for leaving, I understand. Otherwise, why burn bridges?

    Ok, thanks. I forgot FOnewms get a 30% boost to RA spells. This was throwing off the numbers a little.

    I did a little damage comparison on FOmar, and the numbers are all good!

    45% boost from Psycho Wand

    30% boost from Rafoie Merge

    25% boost from Three Seals

    From what I have tested and seen I think there is a conflict with merge/ 3 Seal + P.wand. I tested in ultimate crater against the rappy.

    No shield or P.Wand with 1563 mst = 393 Dmg

    P.Wand only with same 1563 = 529 Dmg, 35% boost

    RAfoie Merge only with 1563 mst = 484 Dmg

    RAfoie Merge and P.Wand with 1563 mst = 620 Dmg, 28.1% boost

    Also... Samurai Armor doesn't give Rabarta boost.

    Those values are good and consistent with what I'm measuring for the Merge / Psycho Wand. You calculated a wrong % boost. You probbaly just input it wrong in calc.

    620 / 393 = 1.577608142493639 ---> (57.7% boost. 23 from rafoie merge. 35 from psycho wand)

    Larva, we had already saw this problem. I thought a bit like Nessly and made a post but Choko explained how it worked. A 30% incease will look like a 22,96% increase for a fonewm without iggy but things are fine.

    The percentagles are additionally compounded, not exponential, that's the explanation.

    Okay great. So it seems the way I'm measuring the boosts is not wrong.

    Many users had said that we have forgot about the FO's and , that we should make a few changes to help them.

    To help this users we decide to do a few changes and this changes are not only for FO's we also did another changes to sertain weapons/armor/shields.

    Before going further please remember Ultima Server is a mid rate server so if you where expecting super increase in stats, I'm sorry to say that wont happen OK. We are trying to keep thing

    balanced here. OK.

    The discrepancy I see is that in the first post, Larva reported new changes to Psycho Wand (new boost 45%) and Three Seal (new boost is 25%) when they are actually still 35% and 20%. Can these be changed to 45% and 25%? This is the question I was trying to get across the first time. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

    I don't see anything wrong with the idea of being a mercenary. Some people don't know anyone or don't WANT to play with other people or join teams, yet occasionally some dedicated help could come in handy. That's where the mercenary comes into play.

    You could set it up something like this.

    Service 1: Hunt for specific item(s)

    • buyer gets drops

    Service 2: Experience Speed runs (TTF, RT, Max Attack etc)

    • mercenary can pickup items,
    • charge more if buyer wants all drops

    I'm thinking 1PD every 30min seems reasonable (more or less depending on how good you are). You may want to charge slightly differently depending on what you'll be doing.

    hah dam good report is this one. I will check the configuration for this weapons. also I believe the the boost means a max boost of % I don't think it applies to always on each attack.

    but im gonna double check the files on the server and ill let you know.

    I really don't think the damage on techs fluctuates if your equipment and MST remain the same. At least I've never noticed this before.

    Just to make clear : the Rafoie Merge, just as any single tech merge, boosts Rafoie by 30%. The accumulation with another 30% bonus may give you this 23% impression, but that is because the bonuses are additioned, meaning that they do not compound exponentially, but it's really 30%, just like Red Merge boosts it by 20%, etc.

    I'm aware of that stat page on PSO-World, but I don't think it reflects this server.

    I've recorded some damage I've dealt to all enemies in Forest at various difficulties. Please take a look at the 3rd column and the two columns concerning the Rafoie Merge.

    I did cell with only the equipment specified at the top of each column. To be clear, here's an example of nothing equipped and ONLY Rafoie Merge.

    In this photo, rafoie deals 331 damage with nothing equipped.

    I did this comparison for every enemy in forest ultimate. I consistently got a boost of 23%, not 30%, regardless of enemy resistances.I'm thinking the Ultima server has different modifiers.

    Am I misunderstanding the way this works?

    Could you also post the magic resistance according to their difficulty in your tests? Normally they are not tweaked on ultima and are the same as the offical version.

    I'm not exactly sure what you're asking for. I have recorded lots of damage numbers using Rafoie lv27 and 1208 MST on Fonewm. Here are the numbers for various difficulties, enemies and equipment combinations.

    I did a little speed test and the damage modifiers for Psycho Wand and Three Seals are not correct.

    Three Seals increases by 19%

    Psycho Wand increases by 35%

    Can we have this fixed?

    Here are some actual numbers I just got. These were done by Fonewm lv162 with 1208 MST.

    NORMAL DIFFICULTY. Razonde on Episode 2 Dubich

    156 barehanded and without three seals

    186 threeseals 19.2% increase

    210 psycho 34.6% increase

    ULTIMATE DIFFICULTY. Rafoie against Bartle Ep1

    331 barehanded and without three seals

    395 three seals 19.33% increase

    407 rafoie merge 22.96% increase

    446 psycho 34.7% increase

    509 three seals + psycho 53.77

    ULTIMATE DIFFICULTY. EP1 ULT GULGUS

    276 barehanded and without three seals

    329 three seals 19.2% increase

    371 psycho 34.4% increase

    424 three seals + psycho 53.62% increase
