q: why do christians celebrate jesus birthday on the 25th of december, when that wasn't when he was born?

hey everyone, i am new here and was only able to play for a few minutes yesterday before the ships went down. I was reading about the drop rates being different than i am used to, but i played all the way through forest to caves and i didn't receive a single drop. Items still dropped from boxes, just not monsters. is this because of the altered drop rates, or was i experiencing some sort of glitch? thanks in advance
