  1. Do you have to remake your room for Happy Hour to apply?
  2. What is this flash of blue light around me after I kill Olga Flow (I think it can also be a red light)? Is there a certain condition, like killing it with a red weapon or killing it when he has your soul?
  3. Oh, so you're saying that his attribute is ???? because you have to figure out if he's a beast, native, machine, or dark?
  4. I wish I took videos and screenshots of every other photon blast sooner. If only I had known, I would've been a watchmaker.
  5. Female photon blast poses Left to right: BRAVACE, Sniper, DB SABER, RED MECHGUN, -no weapon- animations: Sniper https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4S8tiv7KaSU DB SABER https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhtWb5y1ROg RED MECHGUN https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnvHFeU0Wao unarmed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9diCEfWhSNs
  6. Is Olga Flow's resistance randomized when he takes your soul? I noticed that I got hurt using my mechguns, but not my rifle.
  7. I did have a momentary issue where my resolution was messed up and the game text was in Japanese. Being the not-so techie guy, I just straight up deleted my Ultima PSO folder (I wonder if I was supposed to use the uninstaller...) then reinstalled, and used the launcher. I guess I got off lucky than some people. Anyone here using the psobb.exe instead of the launcher? I wonder if that might be the issue. If anyone has any other solutions, that'd be great. Also, what's this pso.dll? What does it do?
  8. Just felt the need to put this out since I accomplished this today. I Made another 200 mag. Just to be safe, at level 195 when it was a varaha, I had that purplenum feed the mag till it reached 196, then my whitill ranger fed it till it reached 199. The purplenum then fed it from 199 to 200, then deposited it in the bank to make sure it was a varaha. When my whitill ranger fed it, it turned into a madhu. When I put it back in the bank, it turned back into a varaha. Yay it worked. Things I learned: Basic mags change appearance if fed at 5 level intervals from 50-200, with one exception: let's say I gave my level 55 madhu to the purplenum to change it to a varaha: when the mag is ready to be fed, and only one item fed is needed to turn 56, it will still be a varaha, and I'd have to get it back to 60 to have another shot at changing it. In other words, if your mag level ends with 0 or 5, then it will be eligible to change only if you can feed it 2 or more items before it levels up. This post probably belongs on the mag sections of the forum, but I felt the need to put this out there since I asked about this a month ago (which I may add, was well explained by the admins on why it happened) and before anyone else has the same issue.
  9. If anyone's having problems with the launcher not able complete its auto update, Windows Defender might be stopping it (should appear as a notification that Windows Defender is removing the malware). Sign in to your administrator account Open up Windows Defender, and go to settings. Under exclusions, click "Add an exclusion" Exclude your Ultima PSOBB folder. It's default location after installing it will be in your C: drive. Now you should be able to use your launcher without being an administrator, but while you're in your admin account, you might as well try using the launcher, then launch the game.
  10. is there a donation quota? If the servers were getting very expensive to maintain, would there be an alert calling for donations?
  11. Let's look at Ragol's geography! The top middle continent is North America. There are 2 Floridas sticking out of the bottom. Below North America, Mexico no longer exists; the Panama Canal would no longer be needed. The bottom 2 landmasses are South Americas, and since Mexico does not exist, they are disjointed from North America. On either side of them are 2 Africas. And you can barely see it, but on the top right where Europe is, Spain and Britain seem unchanged. The left continent is Africa. To the right are 2 Indias jutting out. Here is an entire overview of Ragol, with the guild counter floating just above Antarctica. Overall, Ragol has an uncanny resemblance to our world. Seeing how similar Corallians are to us, it's no surprise why the Pioneers would choose to colonize here. And just for fun, here's the Dark Falz fight on normal mode with free cam: I don't have videos of the other bosses, so I'll just describe to you what they're like: De Rol Le's room is just a loop of the background. If you go to either end, you can see the walls reappearing. You won't fall behind if you go into freecam mode because really you're on a still platform and the water and wall textures are rushing past you. If you go underwater, you can see De Rol Le's whole body swimming. Vol Opt: if you go behind its screens, you can see that the enemy is indeed a flat thing that flies to your right. Once you defeat its first form, you are teleported to a damaged version of the room. Your camera will still be in the normal room, and Vol Opt is just floating there on its screen. By using /cam again, you'll return to the room your character is in, but it will take a while since you're teleported far away for some reason. Dark Falz: You start out in a grassy version of the area. If you look up, there is a black hole in the sky. These holes appear whenever you look up or down in places where there are no ceilings or floors. When you initiate the spike sequence, your camera will still be in the grassy room. Use /cam to return to the death-ified version, and yes it will take a while. The rest, what Dark Falz looks like from above, is demonstrated in the video. Oh and if you're wondering what's below you when you fight the final form, it's just a rocky texture converging in a cone. If you want to play with the /cam tool, other places I thought were fun to look at were forest, ruins 1 (I don't know if it'll let you see what's beyond the windows), ruins 2, Gol Dragon, all the central control areas (seaside especially), Gal Gryphon, seabeds, and Olga Flow.
  12. If I had the choice of using the launcher, or clicking the executable to start the game, are there any advantages to using the launcher then? (stuff not being loaded/updated if I didn't use the launcher)
  13. If PSO was a first person shooter... Sniper BRAVACE Also, I think the construction crews forgot to cover up the annotations on their wall piece here:
  14. Sometimes I like to turn off the music and just listen...
