When you finish all solo quests in ep1 + all government quest in ep1, ep2 and ep4 in ultimate with a level 200 (without Dark Weapons) : you would be rewarded with a PGF.
That would be a one time per player, if that's possible (so I guess a comb of unique identifier or forum account + guildcard).
The only bad points I see in this idea are :
- The "one time per player" thing, I don't know if it's possible to automatically limit without bothering too much the GMs.
- Knowing if a player did the quest without Dark Weapon and with a level 200 (but are those condition really necessary ?)
- Rewarding automatically after completion of all the quests (that's quite a big amount). Probably should be done manually by a GM =/
The good points are :
-
People will play a lot more in order to get their own PGF once (they will literally "finish" PSO, whatever does that mean ^^). They will be initiated to pso story and mysteries
- The dark weapon market craziness will calm down a bit. If not a lot but I would not put my hope on it.
- EVERYONE could get a PGF even if you're busy/sick/unlucky as hell during christmas, can just do quests at your path, day after day. It will take a long time, depending on how often you play, but you will get it.
- Of course people will often want to have a set of dark weapons, and there is three weapons that you can make out of PGF, so one PGF is not enough for most people (and some beginner I guess will just sell it for more useful stuff) : so Christmas time will still be very enjoyed and hipped up for those reasons.
kinda off topic but i will say this what about people with multi accounts? also what about someone like me a FOnewearl that does not have really strong gear? so my main charter would be hopeless getting a PGF unless your midori and i get the feeling this would take a LONG LONG time to beat ep 2 cause of the devil mobs unless u have strong gear or a lot of time to just pick off mobs one at a time but at this point u prob have a PGF from other means x3 not trying to shut down your idea but thats just how i see it x3

but then u would been to boost the cap on stats and add harder settings for rooms or if its just a number going up then again u may aswell just be level 200 cause it means about as much XD

Pretty much just needs a flag saying if you already used the ID change.
Then if you have not used it, the server will let you use change it as long as you are Lv 200well soly just clean up everything i could say would be a thing that i see stoping this idea but talking more about rewards would players be able to get a medal on your forum profile for the times reset? or a counter or something? just to give more boosting rights and to show how much of a old hand u r at this game? or a item that u cant earn normally for reaching a level of prestige? (this item will not be tradeable and if this has been said i am sorry x3 tl:dr)

mmm well now anything i say would be the problems you would face if i was a GM trying to get this to work XD like how to keep gear after resetting to level one ect x3

but dont u guys offer ID changes? and i remember on schthack Lee would give ID changes from time to time? but i guess i have no idea how hard/easy anything to do is on this game X3

i like the idea as it gives u something to do once again when u r grinding for gear maybe give u a ID change aswell each time? only other thing is the exp rate after u hit 200 u can have 3 times exp or whatever but this is more for when you have a new level 1 char the exp rate should be lower then higher as u level up i base this on the fact if a player is new to this game they will level up SO fast they will not learn the basics of the game and when u get to the higher levels thats when it starts to get to a grinding mess and i find it rubs salt in the wound with a 2 times exp when u hit level 165 but maybe thats just me and i got a little off topic but yes a very good idea :3

what can u do as the dragon? cause i remember seeing something about this AGES ago but it looked like u was just stuck in the boss room x3
would be cool if they pulled a demon souls and the dragon was being controled by some player when u do TTF or something :3

may aswell toss my 2 cents in the ring even tho i dont really play PSO any more :3
i did care about finding items but more towards the end of my time playing i just started to not care about finding them cause one its boring as hell to "hunt" a item by just running the same thing over and over
two most gear i really wanted is cheap gear so i just buy it like gilde and honeycomb XP

just happy to help you young c mode players :3 but real talk look at some maps and walk though as sinows and the del monsters are the spawn of devil if you have a FO and get good at killing them big robot things in tower for 2c5 (i derp i forgot that there is only 5 stages for ep 2

Finished 2c1 (Ep 2 stage 1) in 1 hour 9 minutes today. Oocombz, me, nova, and lemon whom got stuck towards the last 30 minutes, sorry about that. We finally got back into the rhythm of doing these again. We'll start 8 pm central tomorrow.
good luck with 2c5...that place is hell for new players >.>

Thanks for the tips. Are you implying I can get multiple S ranks upon C-mode completion and then add elements in the Gallon's quest? The only requirement being the Ep1 & 2 times & having enough PDs in the bank?
Or do I have to do C-mode completion -> get S rank -> add element in gallon's & ---> start over and do c-mode again to get next S rank
no sadly u get one s rank for ep 1 and one for ep 2 after that you cant get any more for that character thats why most cmode players will make more then one acc

basically to earn a s rank u must beat all stages under 7 hours for ep 1 and 5 hours for ep 2 (most players like ep 2 more cause it is set spawns for the monsters and ep 1 is random) also something else YOU DONT HAVE TO BEAT ALL THE STAGES IN ONE SITTING you can do any stages in any order when ever you like aslong your total time is less then the par time you will get your s rank and like solo says basic weapons like sabers, handguns, shots ect, are only rewards for ep 1 and for needles and j cutters ect, are ep 2 rewards
now as far as the east tower thing u have to speak to a FOnewm named hoppkins (the guy who keeps losing his weapons) before u warp to the CCA he will give u a disk or something but basically u get to the top of the tower and there is a computer there use that computer with the disk he gives u and then warp back and talk to him again after u finish that start gallons shop and speak to hoppkins again with PDs in your items and u will be able to buy extra of your choosing the cheapest are like 30-40 and the most is 60 PSO world should have most of this info and also PSO world has all the maps for cmode so if u follow the maps u should be able to beat them well under the par times
i would say picking a HUcassy is best for a new player to cmode as the HUcast has to get hit weapons so bad in cmode but
so u can listen to this or not x3-

ok well i log on the forum mostly and never the game much i was hoping to get to level 200 but i kinda lost my drive for it once i hit level 160 ish cause most people just did CCA if the game was open or just ep 2 mostly and i cant stand ep 2 XD i like the areas but thats about all anyways but trying to get items i want/need is now just to much of a grind and i been there and done it on schthack so thats y i dont log on much now also i got other games i am playing maybe if cmode worked (if someone can conform that weapons are like dropping)

Realms of War ep4 is the best method to unseal lame or any other item. Dont know about any other quest with that many monsters concentrated in such small area. If you have a fo go to normal, make gifoie spam and you will be good to go. Just remember to carry meseta on you, because the quest requires a lot to start off.
this is basically the fastest way of doing it but the only real down side is that u get no items from this quest but if did something like WoF first room or the water fall room like someone else said you can get mats and grinders but it does take longer
