    A little more about your self: I grew up in the country in VT, with not much to do other than farm and play video games. First game I played was Super Mario World when I was 5. I sang in church choirs from a young age, but I got interested in piano/guitar in high school and have been playing since. I have my stable of nostalgic games that I rotate through (including PSO) but I still play some modern games (Diablo III for PS3). Professionally, I'm an accountant, which pays the bills. I've been married for two years and we're expecting a baby girl later this month.

    Welcome back.

    I'm new to Ultima as of a few months ago, so I have never played with you. I played a few years on Scht, a few years on Eden, and in my short time on Ultima, I think it is the best PSO server. It has the right blend of events, unique properties (server-side fiddling as you say) and friendly community. I am not bilingual, but I admire that players of different languages and backgrounds are all drawn to an old but charming game. Besides, the quick chat and "internet beats" were designed with a worldwide, diverse community in mind. I am glad to see that, despite Ultima's perceived drawbacks, players continue to revisit. Really, the drawbacks are by and large due to childish, attention-whoring script-kiddies, and nothing to do whatsoever with Ultima's "management". Were you to visit a week or two ago, you would have observed a more peaceful scene (or at least have been able to log in). Unfortunately that is not the case right now, but I have full faith that Larva et al are working to bring the server back up so that we can all continue to enjoy this wonderful, nostalgic game.

    Anyway, hope to play with you sometime. Cheers.

    Edit: and while I was divining, the servers are back.

    Mag desync

    In my experience with researching the bug, it only seems to occur with a Lv. 50 -> Lv. 50 evolution.

    And I'm sure they will be replaced with Ila's. Basically, if Soly and co. can make a carbon copy of the other Ila's I have.

    I finally got my first Mag desync...

    6 DEF on my 3 Apsaras' need to go to 5 DEF. I would prefer if they were made to match the other Ila's in my inventory (5-0-25-23 with Twins PB). The client must have desynced when I transferred to my Greenill FO for Apsaras -> Ila, and the Antiparalysis I was feeding to increase Dex was actually increasing Def on server side, since Antiparalysis increases Def for Apsaras. Oddly enough, my existing Ila's that evolved from Lv. 35 (Mitra) were unaffected. Maybe the desync is more likely to occur with a Lv. 50 -> Lv. 50 MAG evolution. In any event.... I knew I should have switched blocks >_<.
