  1. I reinstalled the full client from the site and updated it with the patch. it doesn't update itself. still no luck unfortunately.
  2. I could try pinging it, but i don't have the ip address to ping :s also for more info, i added exceptions to pso.exe and psobbw.exe and still the same issues. the windows UA dialog always pops up, and i always allow it
  3. Hm, I downloaded the full client from the site, so i still have to update after that? I'll give it a shot
  4. Hey there, some of you may have seen me on the shoutbox a couple times asking for help. I figured maybe a more detailed description of what's happening would be necessary for me to play PSO.. It may bare mentioning that I use Norton for my antivirus but from the research I've done PSO has only been having problems with AVG afaik. Here is a dxdiag I ran so you could get my general laptop specs: And here is a screencap of the program (run in admin mode): The client itself states there are people online, so i'm pretty confused as to why it's not working. I know I'm the only one with this problem but if someone knows enough on how to help me and could, i'd really appreciate it,
  5. For some reason all 3 servers are down according to my game client. I am a new user using windows 7 premium edition. I downloaded the full installer as i don't have the game installed. according to the shoutbox people seem to be able to play just fine except for me. I have already tried turning off my firewall as well as running as administrator. any help is appreciated. also does anyone know about using a controller with this game? is it just like PSO for the gamecube?
  6. Hi there, I played a lot of PSO on the Gamecube until I gave it up. I always had a softspot for PSO though and never got to play online. I love to hunt down rares and level up.
