    Game won't start after updating? Read this

    A few of my friends were having problems with the game failing to launch after the latest patch was applied.
    Turns out the new PSO exe files were being blocked by Windows. Here's how to fix this problem.

    Guide (Windows 7)

    1. Click the Start Menu button, click the Control Panel button, then click System
    (NOTE: If your Control Panel is set to viewbycategory.PNG You will need to click System and Security, then click System)

    2. Click Advanced System Settings on the left side of the window. If prompted by UAC, run as administrator.

    3. Under the Advanced tab, click settings inside the performance box.

    4. Click the Data Execution Prevention tab, and click Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.

    (NOTE: You can either turn this off and try to launch the game, or if it won't launch with it disabled; enable it and add the EXE files to the exception list)

    5. Click the Add... button and navigate to where you installed Ultima PSO (default location is C:\Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst)

    Now add all of the EXE files you see to the list. When finished, click Apply then click OK.

    5b. You may need to restart your computer for the settings to apply.

    6. Launch the game!

    Getting more combo hits?!?!

    If you want your combo hits to land you need a lot of accuracy. Certain accuracy buffs like Ranger Wall give you a free 20 hit basically, and these small buffs really do help. Getting hit% with any weapon you use is almost a must in my eyes if you plan to land 85% of your attacks. Ultimate mobs have higher EVP compared to the other difficulties so you need to compensate for it. LUCK does not deal with accuracy, but how much of a chance your attacks have to critical hit.

    Some things I would suggest for accuracy buffs would be:

    Ranger Wall (Episode 2 > Shops > Gallon's) 20 accuracy added to rangers only

    Red Ring (Ultimate Falz drop) 20 accuracy added

    THIRTEEN for diska of braveman (Redria or Whitill ULT dorphon ep.4) 30 accuracy added with DoB

    Too many ? items in my bank

    I'm really upset. Second time this has happened to me. My common bank is completely filled with ???? items; one even says ???? x19. I am not able to take screenshots as PSO crashes right when I open my bank. I had some good items in there that I do not want to lose.

    My guild card is #42088476. This happens on slots 1, 2, 3, and 4. I really wish I could get some screenshots, but it's impossible when PSO crashes each time.

    This started a few days ago when I bought an armor from the store. The armor was bugged and crashed my game whenever I would drop, sell, or equip it. The bug kept on happening until I finaly deposited the armor on my bank. Now, all of my characters are having bugs such as: connecting to rooms crash you, people connecting to your rooms crash you, using the bank crashes you, trying to do anything with the bank crashes you, you randomly crash at any point in the game. It's VERY annoying! I have installed the game using the official installer, and the patch to patch your current PSO client to work on ultima. Nothing is working!

    System specifications:

    Windows 7 64-bit

    Intel i3 540

    8GB DDR3

    AMD Radeon HD 6870

    Mags are missing from my bank

    Hello. I was recently raising mags on my character. I had eight of them, and they were all level 34. I put them into the common bank and logged off. Recreated my HUcast character, then I made a room again. I checked the common bank, and they are gone! This is very distressing to me since I lost all eight of them. If there is a way to get them back, please let me know. I also lost 300,000 mesetta... this is very upsetting.
