500ryu Posted April 29, 2011 Share Posted April 29, 2011 (edited) hello everyone me and my friends are trying to install ultima, it worked for both of them but not me. every time i clicked online.exe and i go to start game, it waits for a little and then says "Failed to start PSOBB. Green Posted April 29, 2011 Share Posted April 29, 2011 It is caused by the AVG shield, it seems that it stops you from accessing it without it telling you, and it's on even when you close it....So I disabled the shield. and you should be fine. silentblue1987 Posted July 6, 2011 Share Posted July 6, 2011 Add PSOBB to the antivirus exception list, AVG is notorious about deleting the exe the moment you click it, not sure about others like MCaffee or Norton.
