Apollo Posted January 8, 2011 Share Posted January 8, 2011 Non-rare mage weapons I'd consider place holders in all truth, they do seem very useless. As for the rare monsters thing, your section ID (the colored emblem thingie you see after you create your character) determins what you get from monsters on what difficulty. Only one type of rare is dropped per ID per difficulty, with the exception of Photon drops which anything anywhere can drop.
