This is a snip of the spreadsheet i made that I refer to. I feel like it's easier to read than the list posted.

Okay, then you're in charge of the drop list for the summer 2018 event. Thanks for volunteering! :onion-head63:

Are there no solo player quests in Chapters 2 and 4?

While they can only be played in normal mode (not "one person" mode, unlike Ep.1), there are story-focused quests in both Ep.2 & 4 that can be successfully played all the way through on your own. In both episodes, these quests are not accessed from the Hunter's Guild.

For Ep.2, go to the Lab (the area with teleports to both VR Spaceship and VR Temple/Central Control Area and Seabed) and go up the ramp. Talk to the newman behind the counter on the left. She'll offer you a series of "Lab" quests.

In Ep.4, go to the Principal's office (the teleport outside the Hunter's Guild on your way to the bank). Talk to the girl to the left of the Principal and you'll be offered a list of "Government" quests.

In both cases, quests must be completed in order to unlock further quests in the list.

  3. So, my ID sucks. I was thinking of donating for DT's to change it, but what actually happens when that occurs? Does it have any affect on the character's stats/lvls/mat counts? Does it require the character be renamed (as it is the name that decides what ID they get)? Or is it just a simple override for the current ID?

Also, uh... who do I ask about, you know, actually doing it?:onion-head49:

    Thanks in advance! :onion86:

Hey guys, I'm having some trouble with my lame D'argent unsealing. Not sure if I have the correct info, but it should unseal after 10,000 kills right? Maybe i'm missing something, but I've got over 10,000 kills on it and it hasn't unsealed and there is no "use" option to unseal it either. Am I missing something here? Do I need to grind it first? If I don't need to grind it, is it beneficial to grind it before unsealing? Thanks <3

Since this wasn't answered, you can't grind weapons that require unsealing. Only once they've been fully unsealed will grinders work on them.

This is in contrast to weapons that can be metamorphosized from one kind of weapon to another, such as the Guld Milla mechguns or Dark Flow for instance; Guld Milla requires both Handgun: Guld and Handgun: Milla to be ground to +9 (their respective max grind) before they can be fused into Guld Milla, while Dark Flow requires any kind of basic Sword (Sword, Gigush, Breaker, Claymore, Calibur) to be ground to their respective max before applying the PGF to turn it into Dark Flow. The resulting weapon can (usually) be ground further to that new weapon's max.

    TL;DR

You probably knew this already. :onion-head13:

I've got nothing to do I'm bad English what can I do why do you just tell me trollface listen to the insults I have nothing to do when I ask a question why do you just want me negative :cc-sad:

    I did not know I had old play with Humar can learn the S / D as Z / J :rf-11:

If your native language isn't English, this forum also has a Spanish section if that's a language you can use more easily. Otherwise, I can only echo the suggestion given by El Socko: brush up on your English because it's very hard to understand. A good place to start would be your punctuation; it's already hard enough to figure out what you're saying without all your sentences running together.

Salem, this is painful to read ... you should really look into learning English grammar someday. Besides, HUmar never had SD on Gamecube. Only on Dreamcast.

His profile picture is a troll-face. It is the deadest of dead giveaways.

Granted, they may have an abhorrent grasp of English, but they may also be trying to fuck with us. Either way, don't take them seriously and dismiss everything they say on principal. It's the only way to deal with trolls/the literately-challenged.

As they each have their independent counters there is no real reason to want them reset as they don't conflict with the usage or other materials, so the command was made to ignore them.

(commented for the nostalgia, but time to disappear again

I thought there was a hard limit to the total number of mats (barring HP/TP) that you could consume before you couldn't use any more.

    Has that changed?

  8. 2 hours ago, Terashi said:

Wait, so HP/TP mats are completely independent of, say Power/Mind mats, right?  I can just quaff all the HP mats I've got without worrying?

Yes. Feel free to shove them all in your face-hole.

However, I believe if you clear your mats using the in-game command, those mats will also be cleared. It's a complete wipe.

Pretty much everything on the donation list is cheaper to get with better stats from a player (chain sawd with hit goes for like 30pds from what I've seen).

You can add stats to any weapon, regardless of whether or not you redeemed for it

The Chain Sawd was just an example; I was actually thinking about adding % to my SJS, but thaaanks~! :onion-head11:

  10. Might be a rather stupid (and greedy-sounding) question, so apologies if it comes across as such. Haven't been here for years; don't know what's changed.

Regarding DT's and adding % to weapons: can this only be done to weapons purchased using DT's during the purchase process?

Example: I buy -- I dunno -- a Chain Sawd for 15 DT's, then I tack another 15 DT's on there and request 20% Hit; that item then gets sent to me with the requested stats. However, if I bought the CS for its base worth of 15 and had that delivered to me as is, could I buy another 15 DT's and ask for that extra hit added on afterward and my CS gets modified by a GM or something? Or I trade for the new one?

    TL;DR

Could I pay DT's for extra % on weapons I already own or do I have to buy a new weapon and request the extra % be added on before it's delivered to me?

Only problem with that is, the hell is the point in playing alone in a multiplayer game that you have to go online to play regardless?  Might as well team up.

If you're hunting for a particular drop, it might be more beneficial to hunt alone for two reasons:

    1. If you're hunting with randoms, there's no telling if they can be trusted. Item ninjas lurk in all the darkest corners of Ultima and will not hesitate to snatch up a red box the moment they see it, regardless of if they even really want whatever it is. S'just how it goes, unfortunately. Hunting alone means, while it might be a bit harder, you'll be almost guaranteed that, if it drops, you'll be the one to get it.

And 2. There's a feature on Ultima that allows you to have instanced drops; that the drops you see on your screen are yours and yours alone and no one can collect them but you. Useful to deal with ninjas, but it does come with a drawback: overall drop rates are lower with larger teams to prevent quad-log item scumming. So, if you want your drops rates to stay normal, you should hunt alone, unless you set it to shared drops again; see point 1.

...A-Anyway, pardon the egregious explanation; I'm sure this is common knowledge. I was just trying to make a point; it can be appropriate to hunt alone sometimes. At which point (to get back to your reasons for being a Force), being a tech nuker can make things a lot easier for you, what with the wanton slaughtering of droves of monsters like it weren't no thang.
