Nope, they are not capped. Resta Range can reach any range, providing you have the boost. People believe that 300% range is the 'max' because the range effect can only travel that far, but get a friend sometime and do this:

FOmarl and Tyrell's and Resta Merge.

Make your friend stand outside of the effect, and s/he will still get healed.

Yes, it does work with all slicers. I find it better to Demon's with SoF than with an S-Rank, as you'll be able to hit the third S much easier with hit.

And try to position yourself to attack lone enemies with Demon's/RM/etc. (usually Demon's is the best form of offense.

I don't think you're really bad at all. When it comes to the 'zerking thing, just heal after spawns, unless dangerous enemies spawn such as Nano Dragons, Belra, Baranz, etc.

Of course this will matter on your party, as they may be able to stop these dangerous enemies scratching them, plus some use mates. Quickly.
