  1. I'm not completely ignoring the community, I've tried making contact with people. But up till now I've only encountered one person speaking english. Quite hard to make a conversation when the people around you only speak spanish.
  2. The thing is, getting better techs is impossible if your force is your main character. Techs show up in stores depending on your level mainly. So without leveling higher I won't be getting any better techs. I have enough MST right now to learn techs 10 levels above the level I have them at right now. I just can't get the tech discs themselves. Same with good gear, especially units and weapons. To get them I first need to be stronger to be able to farm the monsters that drop them... Playing with another person is all well and dandy, but first you have to find someone to play with. With the already very small playerbase here, add to that most people being spanish/mexican, it's quite hard to get someone to play with.
  3. I think I need some hints then. I'm level 70 right now, Fonewm so 30% Gi/Ra tech damage boost. I'm getting my ass handed to me quite litteraly. Vivienne is not an option. Nor do I have any gear to make melee worthwile. I'm hardly doing reasonable damage even on Hard. Not to mention Very hard. Takes me 5 to 7 Ra-tech casts to finish off a group of monsters. More on very hard I think. It might be different if your force is a alt char with pimped out mag/gear/tech. But for a starting force this is hell. I don't get the feeling I'm making any progress at all. Every time I level some and go up a difficulty it feels like I just get weaker and weaker with not a single benefit in sight. I don't see any reason we shouldn't have these quests in one-person mode. As it says the mode is intended for one person. More so than a normal game with a password and a single player. I've even tried playing with other people today. Horribly failed, probably due to the language barrier. I remember back on schthack ages ago, I had a lvl 160 Fonewearl, Even then I would prefer to play one-person mode Max-Attack ep 4, just because of the high magic-defence of the monsters in normal mode, meaning I'd become nothing more than a shifta, deband /jellen,zalure vending machine. Ok I was doing some damage with my techs, but the hunters in my team with decent gear were outdamaging me with ease. It might feel do-able to you, but still, without adepts and a v801, and with low level techs, this is hell.
  4. Hello, I'm wondering if the quests like Towards The Future and Maximum Attack could be added to one-person mode. The reason for this is mainly due to the insanely high magic defence monsters get in team mode. While other classes get stronger as they level, a attack-tech force only seems to get weaker as they increase in level and reach the higher difficulties. Find people to play with, you might say then, but this is not a fix-all solution. When playing with other players are force pretty much becomes a walking buff/heal vending machine. Add to that, the fact that you feel like a dead weight because you're not really helping out all that much. And probably will be the last person the rest of the team considders giving a rare item. And to top it off, timezones and language barriers. This server does not have a huge community where you'll always find someone to play with. At the moment of writing there are 7 people online. Most people online are probably spanish speaking. Although you might say that some of them speak some english, it's usualy hardly enough to make a decent conversation, or even decide on what to do. For these reasons I would really like these quests to be implemented in one-person mode.

    One person quests

I'm not sure if there's any EXP difference, at least I don't think there is. But what's important though, and in my eyes is a good reason for making these quests one person mode aswell is: Magic defence. Monsters get a lot more magic defence in normal mode, rendering forces halfway useless. So basically if you're a force you need to find a team, and playing in a team as a force basically means you become a buff/heal vending machine. Hardly usefull.
