    This thread is becoming a joke , where on one side we have the people my self included saying hey this game could be improved to encourage new players and people to play together with there own fair chance of getting items on the other side we have people who just don't understand that a game over ten years old could be improved for the better but because it dosnt fit there play style/concept of pso then it's just a bad greedy selfish idea. Not every player on this server is a member of a well geared highly active team , some may not want to join but with the way this ideas being handled ultima will continue to not hold onto new players long term as I've noticed in my time here as most hit the wall where they can't get what they want from the game anymore

    Buying summer event items

    Hi all : ) i'm currently looking to buy some summer event items . I probably don't have the worst luck on this server but i'm not far off and with me playing only a few hours a night i'm just not getting the number of runs in required to get my chances up. But i am in a position where i have saved up some dts for adding to stats to my weapons  to which lol i currently can't find the items to make , so i would prefer to have the weapons then just some dts sat on a pm. Some might say carry on hunting Solo guy you will find stuff eventually but its draining the soul out of me seeing banners and hearing about other people's drops when 1 week into event Im neck deep in gibbles blood and have quite possibly dropped every non rare in game and a couple pds.So heres what i require

    i need x 2 Soul booster , offering 10 dts each got these now : )

    i need x 1 pbc , offering 10 dts ( got one just need one more ) : )

    i need x 1 centurian/battle , offering 60 dts got this now : )

    if you are willing to help me out and have any of these things to trade either message me here or pm : )

    I think the idea of individual drops but with current shared room drop DAR and rates is the fairest way to play this game. Phantasy Star online ep 1 and 2 is a game over 13 years old and the fact its still played and loved is great but the original game was not perfect. This server isn't a vanilla server. if people want that there are some out there or they can make there own. Ultima has become one of the most popular private servers due its reliability , helpful staff and its mix of improvements to game. A Lot of people who play now are old veterans who are used to system of "hey there , you help me hunt my item for 2 hours then i can help you for a couple of hours then we can help the other 2 guys who've been running with us" I can't speak for the rest of you guys but i don't have much free time to put into hunting anymore. The days of playing online games all day are gone for me and the rest of the folks that have jobs and family. The drop system i support is a fair one that can be abused , but really would more items on the market be bad ? 20dts for a pbc i've seen rooms selling pbc for 99 pd , if people abuse system and power farmed items to the point where they are worth nearly nothing then its a self made greed problem and will bring economy down but remember that dts still add percentages so weapons of value will still be same.Obviously something would need to be done about multi clienting but i'm not the guy with the knowledge on that subject. I see this a chance for Ultima to do something different to all the other servers and be unique in its fair system that rewards multiplayer the same as solo play which i'm sure if sega made this game today it surely would

    Lol so you comment in one persons auction thread implying they are wasting people's time and making them feel bad because it gets a lot of up votes but here and others it's fine because he used different wording ? I'm pretty sure if these items didn't get near the value mine went for moiy wouldn't have sold therefore wasting people's time like you put in Sabrina's thread. In my next auction I shall write"hi all itemX for trade I want crazy/ridiculous offer , I have right to not sell when ever I want, starting bid is fake I want 10 times that figure so get fighting bout it now and in 3 days if it's not right I will extend and when you think you've won I will just say nah I'm keeping Ty and happy bidding : )"

    Lol I hunted on redria doing the pw4 gibbles for 2 hours then had an hour and a half of HH and nothing dropped : / was thinking that it was still dropping God/battle till this post came up. Thank you for confirming my shitty luck lol ; )

    Wow Ricardo I don't think anyone will even try to beat you on this , I won't be online till later though in my normal time and thanks to all other bidders ,do you want me to close this Ricardo or your offer is retracted? Or is it ok to let it finish later so I don't get any complaints about from people who were waiting till end although I seriously doubt anyone will bother to try and out bid you lol

    Hi all , i've outgrown my need for these and as i can't quite work  out the value i'm going to auction them off as a lot. So this auction for x 4 noob/hp will run for 23 hours and there is no secret clause or buy out and i will sell no matter what the final price to highest bidder , so whether it's 1 pd or principle Tyrells gold watch they are going to be sold . starting bid is 1pd , if no one bids lol then i will buy and donate some pds to a new player or maybe just do that anyway who knows : )

    oh i completely agree with what you're saying  : ) its just i play my FOmar like the hunter class but with crazy buffs and debuffs and i play solo most of the time, when i want to play force FOmar i use v801 for the reasons you stated but when i'm by myself i like the experience of melee combat force , super damage / super squishy and because i use either a saber or mech my animations aren't to bad  for casting and if it ain't resta, anti , S/D , J.Z i dont use it full stop . just my play style : )

    The guy who made that site is Orgodemirk on the forum , he was a cool guy who used to be a mod on schtack and started bk in ultima last year and made the site your using , unfortunately some of the info on the site isn't correct or copied from schtack but he tried hard to get most of it right , he hasn't been online since February but maybe pm him and he could add to site if he returns

    I've read on a pso mechanics site about the benefits of v801 and on my FOmar if I'm in a combat setup  I don't use v801 due to the way it works . I will put a link if people want one but its in Wilsons sig and I've found looking online, with level 30 support techs the time saved with v801 is only slight so I use adept , battle unit and smart link as my core items with space for any unit I need at time , V801 I find is only useful for caster FO or characters that don't gain access to high level techs

    Ah but with that build you will only have base ata of 173 require extremely expensive armour and a custom mag with my build without weapons I'm 30atp over max, my ata is 223 and I'm using armour and mag which cost approx 30 PD  to get which is a bit more accessible ; )

    Unfortunately FOmar is bound to godrics cloak and RR to be effective in ep 2 for combat but I've never built a FOmarl so I can't comment on her build but in order to use the build I went with adept is essential and obviously a battle unit and because ranged weapons are needed smart link goes in aswell and due to nature of trying to reach max stat only one unit left for swapping : /

    I don't think the FOmar one is up to date because with my build using current Godrics stats which are plus 30 to ALL stats I've got spare mats using cyanes original plan I only had to use 20 luck mats to max luck with godrics and rr which is his optimal combat setup ( although tower is tricky , need to be like neo from matrix with those megid shots ) anti dark ring can be equipped if you use 30 luck mats and his essential equips are c/battle , adept , smart link with one unit interchangeable I.e v502, cure unit or what ever only a slight tweak needed for FOmar

    Yep as above : ) after you've played here for awhile you will realise that certain weapons are better then others and those will be the ones you will want hunt ,red saber will get you started but upgrades will be needed soon and if we do meet up I can give some extra stuff I don't need to get you rolling to take away some of the grind to get you bk into this classic game. And of course there is no charge : ) as all players who've been here awhile have stuff they don't use and won't sell and I will be happy enough just to see someone use it
