Wow I thought they would of got hundred souls accurate as it was made for ultima : 0 and yeah I would have missed some things like tempest cloak and such just mainly due to not playing forces much : ( hopefully it won't take much work to amend these items info and I can't wait to hunt soul booster this summer to make the most powerful LITERALLY weapon in game: )

    I'm pretty sure Vjaya is still stronger than Hundred Souls, but yeah it's really nice since it's usable by all classes c: I'm a big fan

Hi : ) I was wondering if you could add the dark weapons and there server modified stats and also amend TJS and girasole to there server modified stats as it's currently showing vanilla pso values which are miss leading and also if they have things like extended range and such. I've tried finding it on forum and saw so thing by larva ages ago about the DM and DF but can't find it now. I see a lot of new players asking about these things and it might save time if the information on server modded weapons was here in this thread TY : )

    Yeah this is a great thread overall and very helpful for newer players, but there are even more inaccuracies that you didn't point out. The description for Tempest Cloak (and the other similar cloaks) aren't correct. And I'm pretty sure the ATP range of Hundred Souls is 1300-1600 instead of 1000-1300. Damage test indicate that, and when you equip hundred souls it adds 1600 atp so that should be the max atp of that weapon.

    It would also be nice if Valentine's items could be added.

    Slicer of vengence 0/40/0/45 I think It's hard to value SoV since people have been offering really high for it (up to 100 dts). I think you should be able to get at least 40 dts for each, but maybe a lot more if you found a buyer who really wanted it.

  4. Good topic. I currently have a set of maxed Lindcrays for my FOnewearls and I'm wondering if it's worth it for me to get Charge Type ME/Mechguns. If you could compare these two weapons, I would appreciate it.

    Sorry it took awhile for me to get back to you on this. I actually did the calculation awhile ago when I was at work, but I brought the paper home and lost it, then forgot XD.

    I tested my formula on Ephinea and to my surprise it still works, and the other one you can find online still doesn't work. There quite a bit of evidence showing that my formula is accurate. I still need to test more things to be 100%

    As far as the calculations here it is:

    All these calculations are done with max attribute of these weapons against Gillchichs with max attack FOnewearl. I didn't include red ring since I assumed you wouldn't have it equipped too often with FOnewearl. I don't have maxed Lindcray and my ME Mechs don't have machine stat so this is based solely off calculations.

    Type ME Mechs Charge special (with level 30 shifta)

    Normal attack = 76

    Special attack = 256

    Lindcray (with level 30 shifta)

    Normal attack = 336-478 (407 average)

    Special attack = 1126-1603 (1364 average)

    Assuming most enemies you'll be using N/S/S combo on (of course it depends on the enemy)

    Type ME Mechs would do 1764 damage per combo (assuming everything hits and crits aren't involved)

    Lindcray would do 3135 damage per combo on average (assuming everything hits and crits aren't involved)

    Of course Type ME Mechs have a better chance of critting during a combo since they hit more times, but since they have lower base ata, then more of the shots have a better chance of missing, but if a Lindcray special shot misses all together that obviously greatly reduces damage per combo.

    If I could acquire the EVP of enemies I could calculate the percent chance of hitting these full combos against enemies then calculate the percent of crits happening within the combo to give an average amount of damage you could do per combo.

    With access to frame data, I could take it a step further and calculate DPS. I'll try to acquire frame data someday.

    Overall it seems clear that Lindcray is superior for damage output, but lets test with Zalure involved.

    Type ME Mechs Charge special (with level 30 shifta AND level 30 zalure involved)

    Normal attack = 137

    Special attack = 460

    Lindcray (with level 30 shifta AND level 30 zalure involved)

    Normal attack = 397-539 (468 average)

    Special attack = 1331-1807 (1569 average)

    N/S/S combos

    Type ME mechs 3171

    Lindcray 3606

    Now the damage seems a bit closer. If you factor in crits/misses etc Type ME Mechs may actually out-damage Lindcray on average. However, I can't confirm this. It's also worth noting that if you miss a lindcray shot at close range an enemy may be able to punish you, but only missing one shot from a mechgun will not give the enemy a chance to punish you since there will still be two more shots coming out with that attack.

    Overall, I wouldn't recommend investing in Charge ME Mechs. It may be more useful than I realize, but from what I see it's not great for FOnewearl. I can think of some situations where it might be good, but I'd have to test it myself to be sure.

A multiple drops (optional/opt-in) system is a much better solution to the supposed issues imo, rate of items being dropped relative to monsters killed is always the same no matter how you play, no arguing over ninjas or banners or drop orders, and everyone gets equal chance, but still better to do multi games to make runs go easier and faster.

    Can you elaborate some more on this multiple drops system? Would it be that your chances of finding a rare becoming easier with the more kills you get from the time the game is started? I'm not sure if that would really encourage multiplayer more. I'd like to hear more about this.

  7. I use noob\hp before almost every run. Does this mean that HP materials will not help me?

    That seems to be the case. Here are some screen shots to show this. As you can see the FOnewm used 19 HP mats and still gains the same amount of HP as the FOmar who didn't use HP mats (600). It lowered the fonewms hp to the point before he used hp mats (from 1264 to 1226) then increased it by 600, the fomars hp stayed where it was then increased.

  8. If I were to equip 4 noob/hp's & unequip, it brings your hp up by 800 hp right?

    Does this help greatly in preventing enemy attacks knocking you down from regular hits? (Besides dorphon/zu charge)

    I'm pretty sure it's 600 hp. 150 per noob/hp unequipped. Also it first brings your HP down to the point where it would be before you use any HP materials, then raises it by 600 after that. It will help you from getting knocked down.

  9. Well said Starlord. I'm not sure if you realize how difficult the drop is. People who have hunted it can tell you. It will take a looooong time on average to find one, and if you did find one would you really wanna sell it for only 30 dts? Look at some of the other prices on here. 30 dts isn't that much. I think it's good to be informed on what to expect, because lets say someone was nice enough to sell it to you for around 40 dts and you thought they were overvaluing it (when really they were undervaluing it), then you ask them to go lower and they sell it to someone else. There goes your chance of getting a reasonable price. Honestly you don't have to have amazing gear to hunt sjs. It's a long hunt, but not necessarily too difficult. You may be better off hunting it yourself. A blank tjs is probably gonna seem underwhelming and disappointing to you anyways.

People can pay what they want out of desperation or as this ghost town of a pathetic trade section makes people pay a lot more for items. I don't blame the sellers it's the system on how they set up the trade sectuon (dts) cough cough..

  12. Yes perhaps DT's purchasing should just be enable once in a while. Like one week per month you could bought DTs.

    What I fear however is that people will just buy more during this period so that they don't run out when it's disabled.

    What would be more realistic to my mind, it is to put a limitation of how much DTs each people can buy every month.

    I mean this idea would be stupid if it was a game supposed to bring money to the creators/hosts/owners.

    But it is not the case, donation is not supposed to be a salary but a way to keep the server alive.

    Since there is so much people now willing to pay, I don't think it would be an issue if, say, there were a cap, a limitation of 50 or 100 $ per month per person. That along with 2 $ for 1 DT would really have an impact. Now is that impact going to be good, am not a soothsayer.

    That's a good idea. I think it would still be a good idea to disable to the purchase of dts for a little bit that way the economy can stabilize, then make it to where there was a limit per month.
