I've done all that. I've run the online.exe file as an administrator, I turned my firewall off, and I've gone through and selected each resolution option and clicked play with no luck. My roommates version patched the first time he connected, but I can't even get the game to open.

I did select windowed mode. This is my settings launcher window http://i.imgur.com/OfT7i5g.jpg (that's just an old screenshot, I have tried it with windowed mode checked off). Someone told me that I might be using an old version of the launcher, because is says v1.1. If there is a more updated version, could you direct me to it? I downloaded this off this page http://phantasystaronline.net/downloads.php and don't know where to get the newer version.

I'm new to PSOBB, and I can't seem to load the game. I click the executable file for the game, then click "Start Game" on the launcher window, but the launcher just closes. I've been told this is a resolution issue but I've tried many different resolutions and nothing has worked. Does anyone have any advice? I can post more information, screenshots, etc. if need be. Thanks!
