    A New Breed Of Non-Rare Weapons

    We all know how powerful the S-Rank weapons are, but only after two things:

    1) Adding a special to it.

    2) Fully grinding it.

    Here's my concept:

    Create a new breed of basic weapons. Maybe give them a new photon color (outside of the normal green, blue, pink, red, yellow).

    Make them naturally low damage-wise (like 50 base damage on a sword), but make it so they can be found with any special (like regular ???? weapons)

    Once you find a good special (Zerk, Spirit, Charge, etc) and hopefully high hit, start grinding it.

    Here's where the fun part happens:
    Make the max grind super high (Like S-Ranks).

    For whatever reason, I love good weapons that aren't too worth while until after like...200+ grinders.

    I think it would be very unique to have a good new basic weapon with high grinders.

    And to make things more fair for everyone, make it so we cannot get donation %s on these.

    They would be normal uncommon weapons, so it's only fair we cannot up their quality past the tekker (or Gallon's Shop).

    Each weapon would have the base S-Rank requirement before equipping:
    HU weapons: 800-850 ATP

    RA weapons: 180-200 ATA

    FO weapons: 800-850 MST

    Here's the reason why this would not eliminate S-Rank necessity:

    No one makes an S-Rank:

    Sword

    Saber

    Daggers

    Cane

    Pole

    Partisan (Outside of Hell)

    Rifle

    Shot (Outside of Zalure)

    Handgun (Outside of Zalure)

    Mechgun (Outside of Zerk/Demons)

    Ok maybe we could leave Mechguns out of this, because them shits would be broken with high grinders.

    If anyone else thinks they would like something like this, please post in this thread!

    I would love to get an amazing weapon, but still have to work to make it great (with finding grinders)!

    Now That The Event Is Over...

    I have noticed the spawn rate of rare mobs has gone down considerably.

    What was the event ratio of finding a rare mob vs the ratio now?

    And will it ever go back up?

    See, I started playing on this server, I guess, during the event, which kinda spoiled me, I'll be honest.

    Also, are Crazy/Rush/Delicious(?) Hours still a thing? And if they are, what do they actually entail?

    With So Many New Games, Why Still Play PSO?

    I found out why I still play PSO:BB today, and I was quite happy.

    I realized the hunt for rares reminds me of when I was a kid and played some Trading Card Games (Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, etc).

    Getting a pack of cards and finding that one Ultra-Rare, Double Foil Holographic card was the most exciting thing.

    When I first started playing PSO, it took me forever to find my first rare, but when I did, I was more excited than ever.

    Now that I know the drop charts, there are only a few drops that provide that nostalgic excitement....like, for example, my first Red Ring.

    My friend and I were playing a TTF, and I said "Wouldn't it be awesome if we saw our first RR?"
    And we keep joking about how we would react, and then I saw a Red box. I sat over it, looking at the name of the item in the bottom right before grabbing it.

    He and I were in the same room, mouth agate, staring at each other thinking "Holy crap, that ACTUALLY just happened."

    My character name at the time was Bert, so when I saw the banner after picking it up, we started shouting

    "BERT GOT A RED RING!

    BERT GOT A RED RING!

    BERT GOT A RED RING!

    BERT GOT A RED RING!

    BERT GOT A RED RING!

    WOOOOOOOOOO!

    WOOOOOOOOOO!

    WOOOOOOOOOO!

    WOOOOOOOOOO!"

    And to this day, PSO still finds a way to make my heart race in excitement.

    Dousetsu is my main character, a Redria HUneweral.

    Dousetsu is also the name of the guy that made the Agito 1975 when you read the weapon's description.

    Arc is my secondary character, an Oran RAcast.

    Arc is short for Ayric, which is a fancy, video-game style version of my name, Eric!

    Rayn is my last character, a Pinkal FOmar.

    Rayn is a fancy spelling of "Rain," as in "I'mma make it rain Gifoie on these Boomas!"

    So I recently made a Bluefull ID for two things:

    1) Al Rappys dropping HP mats on Ep. 1

    2) Hildeblues dropping Trigrinders on Ep. 2

    However, I have tested the Hildeblue drop on Ep. 2 and it doesn't seem to drop anything in particular.

    Here is what the server's drop chart page looks like to verify I'm not crazy:

    My point is:
    Is there any way we can actually make that drop a reality?

    Or even like a 7/8 chance?

    Hell, I'll even farm Digrinders if someone thinks getting Trigrinders is broken.

    I'm looking for the BPD (or just a 0'd stat) Panzer Faust.

    I've run Hard Zu BPD about 20 times but to no avail.
