  1. Lol, sorry to bother but... Rafoie tricks don't work while Vol Opt is hiding behind a broken or a blue computer terminal. If it was, I would've added it already. XD Nice additions though (Yes, I understand a bit of spanish).
  2. Sure! You're welcome. Episode 2 guide coming soon, but I'll give you a quick hint: Morfos, even though they're dark type, are weak against megids and hell specials. XD
  3. Hello everyone. I stumbled on this forum and I've seen that there's only a select few guides around here. So I'm going to contribute a bit to the players here that are trying to help the people that are in need of "Surviving" PSOBB. XD Anyhow, let's start on some tricks I've found out in Episode 1 that work 100% XD NOTES: - I'm only referring this to multiplayer mode, but I'm pretty sure it works in single player mode. - There will be some "already-heard-about" tricks here, so let me remind you, other "Pro's": this topic is to help "Newbies" out there or people who never heard these tricks before. - Most of these tricks will need for you to have a certain item or a technique. Dragon Taming [FOREST] Dragon is too easy to kill, but there's a way to kill it faster, just for people who are wanting to complete a timed quest easily *Cough*TTF*Cough* HU's: Well... this applies if you have a very high ATA and have a weapon that does a pierce special: Let's have an example... if you have a lavis blade, and spam the beams straight forward through the dragon's head to its body, it will hit a lot of points, thus killing it faster than before. Also, if you don't have items that do those fancy stuff above, there's always the option of berzerk special spam. RA's: Oh this one is gold. All you need is some sort of a bazooka-type weapon and just shoot the dragon's body. BOOM BOOM BOOM-- weeee it falls down. When it stands up and flies, just keep firing on the dragon, because for some reason, your rockets will somehow heat-seek the dragon and hit it precisely, lol. FO's: The only trick a FO can get is a guide. Well, if your FO has a very high level shifta, deband, jellen, and zalure, High ATP 800+, and an Excalibur... you know where I'm headed to: Berzerk mode. Make the dragon fall down, cast shifta and deband on yourself, zalure and jellen on the dragon, and rip the dragon's legs apart using the berzerk special. Chances are, you are going to hit his wings too, so once it goes standing again, your final blows on his foot will kill him. Also, jellen will help on your recovery... trust me. Pan Arms are a pain in the ass... [CAVES] Due to the Pan Arms' mighty DFP, you barely do damage to it with your weapons. Frustrating right? HU's: To whom it may concern *cough*Yes, you guys who have too much ATP*cough*: Your ATP is good on these guys, but it may take a long time, so I suggest... an unreduced hell special or... a simple hell special spam will do the trick. Of course, you'll need ATA, so... too bad for you ATP-Spammers. RA's: From above, due to RA's very high ATA, they can hell special Pan arms easily without a sweat. Kudos to whoever has a V502. XD FO's: You'll need a megid that can kill enemies at a high chance. That's basically it. Nano Dumbass [CAVES] Nano Dragons are funny creatures. They can kill other monsters since they're raged all the time. Although, if you have a handgun.... start shooting on it, it flies up... and then down. Keep shooting it while it does that, and it will die eventually. Vol Opt Anti-Virus [MINES] Remember when vol opt appears on a screen and disappears after he stops the 3rd time? Don't be so sure he'd be gone... he's just hiding in that same screen.... HU's: "The Gifoie Trick" as I call it, works wonders. Not only you stun vol opt a bit with this thing, you also can reach phase 2 without a sweat... that is if you have a high level gifoie. All you need to do is when Vol Opt stops at the screen and disappears, spam a lot of Gifoie's on the screen, and watch as Vol Opt will get hurt. RA's: "The BOOM Trick" as I call it, also works wonders. This is like the gifoie trick, but it requires bazooka-type weapons such as Cannon Rouge and such. Aim at the screen where Vol Opt is hiding and shoot at it several times, you'll reach phase 2 easy. FO's: Same as HU's Gifoie trick, only this one will be quicker if the Gifoie is a very high level. Vol Opt Anti-Virus 2 [MINES] Vol Opt's phase 2 is very easy, although, this may require a joint attack. Just use berzerk specials on him with daylight scar, or have several do some daylight scar berzerks, even Excalibur berzerks, and have a RA with a high ATP do a bazooka shot. A FO should cast Shifta and Deband on everyone on this one because Jellen and Zalure don't work on this guy. Delsabers aren't 100% guarded with their shields [RUINS] Oh there's a lot of ways to make a delsaber die... but I'll show you some "Unusual" ones I found out. HU's: A HU weapon... works. Yes... it really does. You just need a V101 or a Heavenly/Battle or some sort, and just wait until a delsaber attacks you. If you attack it, it will block your attack, but keep attacking, as it will get damaged once you do a second attack. This requires your eyes and your sense... so this trick might be hard for you XD RA's: If you have a Ruby Bullet and did a close encounter with a Delsaber. You'll notice that as you shoot it, it doesn't guard against your bullet. That's because a Ruby Bullet has some photon launcher properties in it. FO's: Well... mostly everyone knows that barta works on delsabers... but gibarta... do that, and freeze a delsaber, then use a charge vulcan or some sort if you're a type of FO that has high ATP to kill them with your charge special. Dark Falz's Final Form isn't invincible [RUINS] Yes, it's true, when Dark Falz goes into invincibility mode, she's not 100% invincible. For everyone doing whatever they can to kill falz, here's some tricks for you. HU's: Grab a L&K38 Combat or something that can do an attributed special and spam the special right in front of Falz's face. She will receive damage. (Foie-type specials work the best) RA's: Same as HU's. FO's: This is a FO's time to shine. Spam large dozes of Foie's up on her *beep* and kill that *beep*ing mother*beep*. *Beep* yeah! ----------------------------------------------- EPISODE 2!!!! ------------------------------------------------ EPISODE 2 TRICKS: Notes: - Gal Da Val island has the all the places in Central Control Area. - Episode 2 has some of the the HARDEST maps ever spawned in PSOBB. London Bridge is NOT falling down [TEMPLE] Have you ever been on one of the bridges and get surrounded by monsters? Well here's something for you. HU's: HU's should take advantage of the bridge, they should be on the edge and try to hit a monster that can't even walk to them since it just walks in place, near a gap. Be always cautious who's behind you though. RA's: Same as HU's, but with better benefits. FO's: Same as HU's again. That switch everyone keeps being killed from [TEMPLE] I've gathered information about players falling for this switch... you know... that purple laser switch in VR Temple 2 with 2 parallel purple lasers in front of it that when you press, foie traps appear everywhere. Well here's an advice for you: DO NOT PRESS IT. Just go near it and then go back, enemies will spawn. Barbara Gay/De Rolling Pin [TEMPLE] Barba Ray is just a shrimp... a HUGE Shrimp. These tricks will work for both Barba Ray and De Rol Le, so let's look at these. HU's: Just like on Episode 1's dragon, use a Lavis Blade (Not lavis Cannon, it doesn't spam that much piercing photon beams) to demolish its shells and go for broke. Or... you can always try the Daylight Scar or Excalibur trick, as it will make your kill faster. RA's: A Rianov-5 or any piercing weapons that shoot fast will work wonders... as long as you have a high amount of ATP. Go in front of its head when it's taking a rest and then RAM IT UP! Make sure you're in the right spot or you'll only hit few targets. Bazookas work too, just shoot on the body, not the head. Burning Visits, Photon launchers, or any slow-piercing weapons will give you a hard time. FO's: Any technique that do multiple hits will work fine... but a Rafoie or a Gifoie with a high level will defenitely work a lot on De Rol Le; Gizonde or Razonde (If you really like Razonde) for Barba Ray. The so called "Legendary" Gol Dragon [sPACESHIP] Well, this is much like the Episode 1 dragon but this is harder in difficulty since it doesn't fall down, so I only have one advice for FO's: Use whatever necessary to kill it (Your best tech arsenal that does high damage). Gibbles can have the Giggles [GAL DA VAL] Gibbles.... are annoying. They have buffed defense, an ability to block, and no matter what DFP you have, their attacks will pierce through you. HU's: So... a HU's job to knock these guys off is to back off and have a charge vulcan instead. Try to have a good range from the Gibbles and shoot it with your special attack with all you can, because if you go melee with it... YOU'RE GONA HAVE A BAD TIME. RA's: Your job is to freeze the Gibbles as much as possible before it gets you. If you've successfully frozen it, it's time to use your strongest weapon to annihilate it. Keep doing this and you'll kill it in no time. FO's: Megids will less frequently work on these guys, so you will need to use a Gibarta just to freeze it first, and then spam it with its elemental weakness. Annoying Epsilon [GAL DA VAL-CONTROL TOWER] Epsilons are one of the FO's worst enemy as it shifts resistance to become immune to a FO's technique. Not to mention its godly rafoie-like bomb. With its shields on, damage will be 0 all the time. Wait for it to release its shields. HU's: HU's... stay out of its range as it will release its shields later on. Try to have a long range weapon with you all the time.... but if you're going for broke... don't mind using a Berzerk weaponry with machine and hit%. Be careful, Epsilon might be purple and it will release Megid-attributed shield attacks on you. RA's: RA's are safe on this part. Just use the same strategy for HU's, but don't go melee on it. Stay long range. FO's: FO's are useless on this part, but they can cast S/D on the people who are trying to kill an Epsilon. Don't forget to tag an Epsilon with anything just to get EXP after your teammates kill it. Ill Gills are too badass for you [GAL DA VAL-CONTROL TOWER] Yes, they're badass... and they're really hard to kill since they sometimes dash around on you and make you fall down like the inferior being you are. Wait... inferior being? Prove them wrong! HU's: Oh, priceless HU. You're a good target for these guys. Try to use a good long range weapon on these guys (Preferably a Charge Vulcan... with hit%)... and... here comes the good part. If there's a small gap between you and that bastard, get it done, shoot whatever you can! XD RA's: RA's... just try avoiding an Ill Gill's dash, as you're safe for now... You can also freeze it with your frozen shooter for HU's to do some berzerk specials on it. FO's: Support your teammates here, as you will be useless on killing an Ill Gill by yourself... or can you? While an Ill Gill is frozen, try to use its weakness. I assume you already know what Ill Gills' weaknesses are. Ready... set... LET'S MERICAROLL! [GAL DA VAL] I will only give a guide to a Mericarol in ultimate... or any types of Mericarols for that matter, such as Merikle and Mericus, because they're the most annoying creatures in the whole PSOBB game. THEY WILL 1-HIT KILL YOU NO MATTER WHAT RESISTANCE YOU HAVE. HU's: You're practically dead from these guys, so you'll need teammates... a RA that can freeze them with Frozen shooter or Snow Queen. If one is successfully frozen, do berzerk specials on them. RA's: RA's... this is your time to shine. Use a Frozen Shooter or a Snow Queen to freeze them, and shoot another one and freeze them if there's multiple ones. Just try making your HU friends kick their asses cuz the only good you'll do is freezing them. FO's: Again, support your friends, use Shifta/Deband; Jellen/Zalure on Enemies Girl-Guy Pron [GAL DA VAL] *cough* Gal Gryphon *cough*. Sound arousing aint it? *shot*. No. Ahem. Back on track... This boss is easy... if you know what to do. HU's: Stay away from it while flying, have a high hit% charge vulcan with you, and once it comes down. HIT THE HEAD! Be on the middle too as it will hit you with deadly laz0rz. Try to stay far as possible from its range and shoot. Kudos to whoever has a SMARTLINK. RA's: Since range is the key, a RA's goal on this one is to shoot as far as possible too... that is when the bird is on the ground. FO's: Cast Jellen/Zalure on the boss and tag it with something. You should also cast Shifta and Deband everytime. Try to make yourself safe too. Sometimes, it will be cheap and do some fake divine punishment on everyone. Recoboxes... [sEABED or CONTROL TOWER] They can be a bit annoying sometimes since they try to stand in your way with their Recons... although, they're EXTREMELY WEAK against hell specials and megid... maybe it's time to change your tactics on killing them? Delbiter on Crack [sEABED or CONTROL TOWER] Lol, these guys never stop being hyper in ultimate mode. They can do moonwalks, sidewinders, retarded laz0r beam spams, retarded yells, and more retarded dashes. WARNING, THEY ARE VERY IMMUNE TO MEGID AND HELL SPECIALS. HU's: Wait until a RA freezes them, and then use your berzerk specials on it. Sometimes, when there's a pathway up, they can't hit you with their dash attack, so use a long range weapon on them. RA's: Same as HU's, except for the berzerk part. FO's: Again... support your teammates as much as possible. DEL DERP! [sEABED] Deldepths are like poifully slimes that you see in Caves in Episode 1, except you can actually hit their disk mode... if you can realy hit it, which I doubt cuz it's really fast. HU's: Well... I've tested a hell special spam (With high ATA) on these guys and it pretty much works wonders. I suggest trying that out yourself because I always use that tactic. RA's: Since Deldepths are weak to hell specials, try to have a hell needle with you or some sort of a weapon that has a Hell special. Kudos to whoever has a V502. XD FO's: Hmm... if hell specials work on them... should megid work as well? Find it out. More... FO'S!!! [sEABED] Morfos. Lol. It has mighty defense... but... it's WEAK against a megid and a hell special. I've killed a bunch of these wierd... X-looking creatures using a Hell special, so it's no problem for you. Olga Blow 1st form [sEABED] Ok, this will be my last one for episode 2. Because 2nd form is so easy, it hardly is a challenge... unless you really want to request it. All you need here is skills and eyes, as you will really need long range weapons on this one. Most notable thing is Olga Flow's "Ass-Rape" attack. He will cling on the elevator and try to suck you in the black hole he's making from his ass. XD Anyhow, once he clings on the elevator floor, prepare to go to the edge and press and hold FORWARD. It will sometimes make you stop in place. He will stop, and this is your chance to use any good melee weapons on his legs. --------------------------------- That will be it for Episode 2. Episode 4... coming soon. I have very unusual tricks for episode 4... well, yeah, so stay tuned. XD PS: If you want to request for Olga Flow 2nd form, just say so. ---------------------------------
