Charge arms will suffice but baranz is better in certain situations like volt op second form and probably enemy groups of 2-4. Been awhile since I've used baranz so I don't know where it's best at

Since you mentioned ramarl, I would highly advise Yasminkov 9000m with Hit and Charge special added to it as a great investment that would be worth spending 15-25 (depending on the hit) dts on. It's more difficult to obtain than most other ranger gear and easily among the strongest weapons in the game.

On this note, would it be better for a Ramarl to get spirit special added? I know it would be harder to resell because it's human only but doesn't spirit hit with the accuracy of a heavy attack rather than charge and berserk which hits with the accuracy of a spacial attack. I'm just curious if that's how it works here.

Your damage varies depending on your wep. Each wep has its own at p range. And crit is based on luck. If you miss less you're also going to crit more due to the total number of attacks landing.
