Or you can go to shortucts and the assign a chat or a simbol chat to some specific keys. same deal as before, when you want to type what you want, simply press tab to bring the simbol chat and select one.

Pics like this consume alot of space in bmp, so i converted them to jpeg, i lost some quality but they have now less then 2Mb (original size was 5.49 Mb)

take off anti-alising the game should run normally at the higher resolutions, anti-alising for some reason slows the game down as you are trying to make it run with smoother frame, which in return makes this problem occur, with out the alising the game loads the basic frames to animate and does it with average-high rates which makes the game run faster and only goes slow on some aeras of the game.
Then why the game runs faster when the resolution is maxed?
640x480 + antialising is alot slower then 1600x1200 + antialising
Yes, i have loaded temple with antialising on, took me a few minutes to actually enter pso, create a game and then warp to the temple but i did it. (did it at 640x480)
Current situation:
All resolutions: game runs great
Almost every resolution + antialising: major slowdown, all areas can be loaded
1600x1200 + antialising: no slwodowns, areas can't be loaded

It's like this, i can play with antialising or not and i can pick the resolution.
If i have anti alising off i can use any resolution (haven't tested the highest one possible)
Now i always want more so i decided to use anti alising, the game becomes unplayable, even with a low resolution the game slows down alot, using the higher ones makes windows XP almost unusable (takes a while for the task manager to apear to kill the process), but something has happened with the highest setting (1600x1200), the game was actually alot faster then the other resolutions, unfortunatly i don't know why this happens, teoricly it would make the game even slower but it doesn't.
Now, i want to take some specific pics and that may require for me to enter areas, but for some odd reason the only thing i can do is to create a game and apear in pionner 2, once i load an area like temple the game loads and crashes.
So i like to know 2 thinks, why did performace increase 1000% when the resolution was maxed and why would the game crash when i load an area in max resolution?

I was reading an overview of PSOBB on PSO-World and it says PSOBB is a Xbox port plus a few improvements. If it's a Xbox port why doesn't it support the Voice Chat feature on Blue Burst?
Originaly PSO BB only had ep1&2 and was indeed a port, music quality and textures from pso xbox were used in PSO BB
If you check the char creation text textures you will see that it has a voice thingy but it's never used in PSO BB.
Altough i'ts cool, sega had several problems with it, censuring words was easy, but how do you censure a voice insult? not only this but ppl would distort the voice in the char creation to make it sound girlish or just utterly pathetic.
On top of this the voice wastes internet band (not sure if i'm saying it right) and with PSO BB they decided to cut it out, they erased the censuring problem and made the game use resources that are actually needed, using voice chat is a waste.
Solution, get skype or something similar to comunicate.

Is there an alternative download for the full game? because the time limit always expires before i can retrieve the download.

I got that on my 1st try, but on the 2nd try i was able to access the char select screen.
Keep trying is the only advice i can give.

Well, thing is this server is populated enough for me to join and for once i will be able to understand what ppl say (unlike certain servers were the primary languange is japanese)
I may upgrade and download your version of pso bb to connect here, being so you don't need to worry about hacks as i will hang in the lobby all the time.
Considering i already play PSO on another platform then playing PSO BB is out of the question so i will basicly just hang around and chat, i believe i will always be lvl 1 in PSO BB.
Thanks for the replies, i find this forum refreshing compared to other server's forums.
Btw, another question, can i post pictures of PSO not related to this server or BB? (like postig a picture of pso ver.2)

1st of all, hi everyone.
My questions are regarding hacking and connecting, so that i can avoid problems in the future.
- Can i enter the server using a old version of the game even if it's just for chat, version i'm talking about is pso ver.2 for pc as all i need is th ip.
- If it's possible, would hacking be alowed, because i often test a few things, i want to know if i have to disable them in order to enter the server, like using a npc skin, using oversized mags, using a different lvl (used to enter higher difficulties, online only).
My point is not to hack because even if i was interested on that in pso pc i could do it on another server or even offline, but if it's a requirement here then i need to go offline and check wich hacks are active because i don't keep track of wich hacks are active.
But like i said, if it's a requirement i will make sure to turn them off.
If i can join then i will happily check the enviroment and chat a little, i could switch to pso bb but i'm not in the mood to play that game, i only use it to recover some data from the game.
I mainly use PSO PC to walk around all the servers i can, having to update and use PSO BB just to enter here would be a waste (but i may consider as a possibility)
Why would i play pso just for chat? because i play offline on the dreamcast atm, going online and chat is a nice way to relax and complement the gameplay.
Either way, i think this is a nice clean forum that i wouldn't mind to join, i wish no harm and if there is anything i can help then i will do whatever i can.
