Schranko
Slicer glitch is probably the only way to arrest them. Need to get a S Rank Arrest J Cutter for my HUcast anyway. If you use the slicer glitch with it then that should probably arrest biters. Im just not sure how high the success rate is going to be. El Socko
Schranko, you forgot to mention that the Cast reductions/bonuses only apply in Ultimate difficulty. Also, I have never heard of the third hit glitched Slicer SNS combo getting a 100% activation. It doesn't make any sense either because that means you could, for example, SNS with an Ice Diska and get off a guaranteed Freeze on any enemy that can be frozen provided you can actually ATA-hit it. I call BS. Who told you this?

Dashie IOW
just a quick on this when you say multi target weapons have a reduce specs on normal weapons so what does that mean for things like demons? i understand that on things like hell its down by like 1/5 on shot weapons and on mechs its 33% per shot but things like demons and arrest on shot weapons what happens then? Fyrewolf5
just a quick on this when you say multi target weapons have a reduce specs on normal weapons so what does that mean for things like demons? i understand that on things like hell its down by like 1/5 on shot weapons and on mechs its 33% per shot but things like demons and arrest on shot weapons what happens then? For specials that have variable proc rates by tier like arrest, the activation chance is reduced, so an Arrest Sword (1/2 reduction) would be (((ProcRate + cast bonus) - enemyESP) x v502bonus) / reduction = ProcChance, so say for a 50 esp enemy, it is: humar no v502 (((80% + 0%) - 50) x 1) / 2 = 15% hucast w/ v502 (((80% + 30%) - 50) x 1.5) / 2 = 45% For specials that have set proc rates regardless of tier like demons, gush, king's, burning, etc., the strength of the special is reduced (note: devil's/demon's are not 100% activation, but they are both the same set activation rate, I believe 50%). For something like gush, a gush raygun may steal up to 120hp per hit in ultimate, while a gush vulcan (1/3 reduction) will only steal 40hp per hit (total 120 over 3 hits). While a demon raygun would do -75% monster hp (for humans and newmans), a similar demon vulcan would instead only do (-75%) / 3 = -25% monster hp per hit. This is significantly weaker, as it leaves the monster at 42.1875% hp after 3 hits, instead of at 25% hp for a single unreduced hit (note: devil's / demon's for humans and newmans is -50% / -75%, but for cast is -25% / -45%). Thus demon's is especially impacted by reduction since 3 reduced vulcan hits will not add up to 1 unreduced raygun hit. Sacrificial specials (charge, spirit, berserk) are unaffected by reduction, they give the higher attack multiplier regardless of weapon type.
