Enemy rare drop idea, if even possible.

Hi all just wondering about a good idea, instead of an enemy only dropping one rare is it possible to drop multiple rates like 1 - a normal rare drop, 2 - a hard rare drop, 3 - an impossible rare drop, if this was possible it would be amazing cos you could add custom skins to the stock rares and add different stats and specials and this method could go to any heights, you could even get the community to make a new skins and also events based around this where the winner would get their skins in the game, and also It would make the game last longer and add more excitement to all year round hunting, ty all for reading and what do you all think of this idea, tyvm all XD

with the spaghetti string mess that is the source, that would be a nightmare to implement. The item drop mechanic would have to be completely redone. Mind you I have limited experience playing with this pile of noodles.

Since drops are determined server side, the source code wouldn't be the problem.  The problem would be coming up with 2-3x drops for each mob that wouldn't mess up the economy.  This is the kind of change that would have to happen early on in a server's lifecycle, and I think Ultima is too far past this point for it to be a reasonable change to make.
