The Launcher download isn't found

Recommended Posts

I was going to download the PSOBB Launcher, but I was lead to a page saying "Object Not Found!", and I was getting back to the game after I uninstalled it because the launcher managed to delete itself, does anyone know why this page appeared at all?

Someone on our team recently had this problem as well. We managed to fix it by deleting the old games files and launcher completely, then reinstalling using the new launcher. Not sure if you are using game files from a previous down load but if so you should delete them. Also, be sure the downloads aren't being blocked by your antivirus or firewall settings. That is another common problem. Hope this helps.

The downloads we used are here: https://www.phantasystaronline.net/forum/index.php?/downloads/

There was an issue with a false positive on the launcher which for some reason escalated quite high with some people (talking about our host) so we removed it temporarily.
You can download the launcher here https://drive.google.com/open?id=140PU_e28w18GKt_7dj2PmWlTg6zwFU-K

Be aware that this will say the file is infected but that is not the case.
I'll be fixing this soon so the launcher can update itself normally without issue.

No, it is not.
This is probably an antivirus or something else not letting the launcher connect.

Nope, I've whitelisted the launcher and I've done just about everything listed and it's still not working

Edit: NM resolved

Could you share what the problem was? (In case someone else runs into a similar issue)

I mistakenly thought that the programs were trusted by my antivirus. It turns out that I also needed to change the firewall whitelist on Norton instead of Windows Defender (Norton’s Interface also threw me off).

Just wanted to comment here that a new Launcher build has been uploaded and should be downloadable in the same link.
However it still shows 5 false positives of some obscure antiviruses and McAfee.

We'll see how this rolls our but I think it should be fine for the time being.
