Have you tried other connections? Sometimes ISPs block us.  @Soly would know more about this than I since he wrote the launcher.

Sadly I don't think I can help you.
Can you try using a VPN? If that works, then most likely your ISP is blocking your connection with us.

Hey, guys, I've just had the same problem here's how it got solved. Basically, you'll have to download the separated laucher, add a permission for your antivirus to allow the launcher and copy the files created by the launcher to the game folder.

1 - Register and validate account;
2 - Download game installer;
3 - Install game;
4 - Execute game;
5 - Register UserId with credentials from the first step;
6 - Start game and error No908 occurs;
7 - Download laucher separately;
8 - Execute launcher in a new folder (your antivirus may block it - change the settings to permit executable);
9 - After the laucher finishes updating, copy all files from the Laucher folder and paste them on the game folder;

You should then play the game normally. At least, it worked for me 🙂

Ultimately (no pun intended) you want to whitelist the game folder to avoid these issues, and possibly disable the antivirus while the game is installing.
