How do I overwrite a mag using Ashura mag cell?

I've read that you can overwrite rare mags using Ashura but I can't use it. I have a lv200 rappy mag and yet I can't use Ashura... Are there any other requirements needed?

Once a cell is used, a different one cannot be used on it.  The same is true for ep2 rare mags (tier 4 evolutions; pushan, rati, sato, etc.).  This is to prevent players from accidentally overwriting their finished mag by picking up a mag cell.  Thus Rappy mag cannot evolve into anything.  You'll need to raise a new mag for the Ashura cell.

Soly actually blocked the combination with rare mags because too many people used it on their mag by mistake.

Yeah, sorry about that.
Since too many people were borking their mags we opted to remove the combinations between rare mags and Ashura, after all that was just so inconsistent, since no other cell does that.

 there is a few cells that require a specific Rare mag in order to use cell :

Chu Chu (rare mag) + Amitie's Memo = Puyo 

Rukmin (rare mag) + Tablet = Geung-si
