moving while menus are open

for some reason that i cant figure out i cannot move while i have any menu open when playing with keyboard

 not sure really how, i mainly use a controller, but when i used to play with keyboard i would turn on mouse controls in options , set to drag, and u can  run with mouse with menus open,

 also u can , shoot , change view, pick up items , zoom in/out, navigate menus  with mouse.

You should be able to move with WSAD and navigate the menus with the arrow keys.

 nice, yes only way that wont work is if your keyboard config is set to default 3,
