If it doesn't work read this

  • Download the "PC drivers for Xbox One Controller" from here. (x64 or x86)
  • Install them onto your system using the .msi you just downloaded.
  • Go into Control Panel > Printers & Devices.
  • Right click the controller, go to "Properties," then hit the "Hardware" tab; you should see three items.
  • Click on "XBox One Controller"
  • Hit "Properties"
  • Hit "Change Settings"
  • Go to the "Driver" tab".
  • Hit "Update Driver"
  • Browse my computer for driver software
  • Select "Let me pick from a list..."
  • Uncheck "Show compatible hardware"
  • Select "Microsoft XBox One Controller"
  • A warning will pop-up, but continue anyway.
  • Do the same and change "XINPUT compatible HID device" to "HID-compliant input device".
  • Restart
  • It should work now.

The team creation should be working fine.

How does it not continue... hangs, gives you an error message, etc?

No error message. Saw another similar thread in the forum. Basically there's no button that locks the team name in place and let's me continue. Essentially the function of the enter key.

Trying to investigate further. I'm using the wireless adapter for windows.

just a quick update. i've still been unable to play properly with using a wireless Xbox One controller on Windows 10.

Wireless 360 controller works fine however.

Maybe you can force install Xbox 360 drivers to the Xbox one controller ?

So since the latest launcher update, everything has been working lovely with the Xbox One controller without any modifications.

I would advise anyone that had issues to try again. Perhaps something to do with Virtual Full Screen?
