Official Max Stats Guide

This is a guide with a compilation of plans used for reaching Max Stats on your characters.

The goal is to achieve max stats in certain attributes. These stats are divided into:

  • ATP (Attack Points)
  • DFP (Defense Points)
  • MST (Mind Strength)
  • ATA (Attack Accuracy)
  • EVP (Evade Points)
  • LCK (Luck/Critical Boost)

In Ultima server every class have increased Max Stats Boost compared to vanilla PSO, that means old max stats plans made for vanilla PSO doesn't work on this server, since there would be an huge gap until reaching the max stat using the old plans.

Ultima Boost: +100 ATP, +100 DFP, +100 MST, +10 ATA and +30 EVP boost for every class.

That being said, there's a possibility you won't be able to max everything from certain classes (and it's not really needed to max all stats) due to material slot limitation. It is standardized to max ATP, ATA, LUCK (to achieve maximum accuraccy and raw melee attack power) as a priority for melee based classes, and/or MST, for nuking and force classes respectively, and lastly EVP and DEF when necessary and possible.

Generally DEF and EVP aren't very important stats, so these stats can be ignored in most cases as armor and barriers will take care of protecting your character. EVP is interesting for increasing the damage output of certain Photon Blasts like Estlla (final damage output also counts the Synchro and IQ percentage, that means 120% Sync and 200 IQ is needed for maximum damage/buff/heal). DEF is important to decrease the final damage you are getting, discounting Deband and Jellen level, very useful for players that uses sacrificial weapons like Excalibur, Heaven Striker and Dark Flow.

There are some classes can only have maxed stats by using special custom mags (obtainable via Donation, Mini-Events or using a Console/Ashura Mag Cell) that can reach stats normally not obtainable with standard feeding charts. Otherwise, you will need a PPP Mag (a 0 DEF mag that is a reward players get from completing Power Plant Plight - Episode II quest), useful for replacing the 5 DEF points with more important stats.

⚠️If you use a Console/Ashura Mag Cell/Ultima's Engine!/other mag cells on a PPP/Default mag that doesn't have all 3 Photon Blasts, you won't be able to add new PB's to the said mag, as it will not evolve anymore after becoming rare (green/yellow name).

  • Kit of Mark 3 (refer to this website to understand how console mag evolution works)
  • Ashura Mag Cell is obtainable as a random item from Easter Eggs and Christmas Presents
  • Ultima's Engine! is obtainable on Anniversary Event as a drop from specified bosses

There are multiples builds for each character, depending on your preference. Generally it is more efficient to choose for plans that requires less Units, so you can use other interesting units that may improve your gameplay (Centurion/Battle, V801, V502, Smartlink, PB/Increase, Centurion/Resist etc.)

Man, I was slowly working on making a thread with a collation of all my plans, and now you have to go spoil it with this thread, sigh. It was going to have description of methodology and strategy, reasoning, gear discussion, mags and raising them, pow/mind relationship and when to use which, everything lol, I was just taking my sweet lazy time because I didn't want to half-ass it.

These are all 0-1 stat unit plans (2 units is really not good imo), most of them do not include v101 stats (worth ~17-19) unless necessary in an alternative because cent/battle exists(there really is no comparison between the two c/battle is just way better), they max ata>lck>atp (if it can't max completely with 1 unit it's never more than 15 atp off, any more and I couldn't justify to myself as maxing atp) and red ring is used for luck very often, but when extra mats exist then possibility of using 10 more mats on luck is always an option for max luck with other shields.

A 200 mind mag will let you have 820 atp to keep any weapon equipped when you change mags. A 195 mind mag will let you have 800 atp to keep almost all weapons equipped(except galatine) when you change mags. A 185 mind mag would only let you have 791 atp while it's equipped, meaning no excalibur, master sword, or any other 800 atp required weapon. This isn't really a big deal, it only has small niche things it would really affect, but it's nice regardless.

Classes I know with hidden .5 ata at 200: Humar, Hunewearl, Hucast, Hucaseal, Ramarl, Fomar, Fomarl, Fonewearl.

Classes I know without hidden .5 ata at 200: Racast, Fonewm, Racaseal, Ramar.

Those with this hidden .5 ata can have 1 less dex on their mag to max than their ata number would suggest, so those I don't know yet might be adjusted with -1 dex +1 pow/mind on mag and equivalent -1 pow/mind mats and +1 extra mat.

By "no slots" do you mean all 4 of his slots are free or do you mean he needs all 4 for stat units.

Yea it sounds a little odd when it's phrased like how yavnbaraz and cyane are writing no slots, 1/2/3 free slot, etc. I do it the other way instead. I find it much less awkward to categorize the plans as no unit plans, 1 unit plans, 2 unit plans(very questionable imo), 3 unit plans(no room after battle unit plans? why would anyone consider that?), 4 unit plans(wtf plans) and I name the plan after the unit it uses (adept plan, c/ability plan, c/arms plan, etc.), though i'll write in cent/battle or v101 so people know if it uses v101 stats in case they have cent/battle, plan to get one, or want to use an armor like bovn with built in speed.

In my post you can see it is named a "No units needed" plan. I'm always aiming to only use at most 1 unit for stats, using 2 units for stats is bad imo because then you don't have that free room for stat unit + battle unit + smartlink + v502, a kind of important setup for using ranged hell weapons.

Well, you brought some nice things to consider about. I'll consider doing things like you are suggesting. When I get more free time (okay, when my laziness stops :P), I'll rearrange some of the plans.

There's those that just want to max one specific stat, not everybody is looking to be a master in all stats.

As a force gotta think a lot on all the units we could be using instead. Pretty much if you want to be a jack of all trades, you waste 3 slots v801/centbattle/v502 and get one?? (probably a centurion mind in the end).

Some peoples just want a nuke force to go and that leaves space to play around a bit better with the stats. D: I vote in increasing everybody to 250 mats!! xD
