I had originally only gotten the game back in 2006 because I wanted the elusive Tails Chao on Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, little did I know, I was in for an awesome adventure. By the time that I got to the quest 'The Fake in Yellow' to get the Tails Chao, I got addicted to PSO pretty quick after The Fake in Yellow. I even ended up getting 4 of my friends addicted to PSO. I never got to play online because Sega decided to shut down the servers... Although, I never did get bored of the limited content of 'Offline' because there were still a lot of items I was hunting for.I had looked into a private server to see about an unofficial GameCube Server, but from I read, that particular server often had problems such as freezing. And I had no desire to risk several hours of gameplay being lost. But in 2013, I decided to try out that private server's Blue Burst, but I couldn't get into it.. It took forever to level up and since it was online, enemies were harder to defeat from level 1.The first friend that I introduced to PSO and I went separate ways in October 2013. We constantly got into arguements so we ended the friendship. (That's a completely different story, but still relevant to my 'PSO story'.) We hadn't spoken to eachother for a year... This year, in October, we became friends again and we've been hanging out as if nothing ever happened. On the 5th, we started trying to find a good MMO to start playing together. (We like RuneScape, but we wanted another one to be able to play as well.) We looked around on the internet but could only find ones that were basically "pay to win". I had mentioned that I have an account on "that" server but I never played because I didn't have anyone to play it with, plus the reasons I mentioned earlier. But it's apparently been impossible to create an account since August because whatever reason..After we found that he couldn't join, I did a search for a different private server and came across Ultima and we decided to give it a try. I have since uninstalled the previous private server's PSO BB from my computer and now play on Ultima with my friend. We are going to try to get the other 3 friends I introduced to PSO to join Ultima as well so we can all play together. So far I am really liking the Ultima Server. I don't think I could have picked a better time to join a new private server because of the Halloween event. I got a Heart of Chao from a Hallo Rappy so I can get a Chao Mag like I've always wanted.
