Larva
the only thing that i can recommed is to do a full uninstall, erease the whole folder of phantasy star online, then reinstall again. make sure ur not using any custom skin this will help us to make a better troubleshoot. squish
You can also do a resolution check as in make sure your pso resolution at least sort of matches your desktop resolution, also make sure you're playing on normal graphics, Good Luck. Quote Link to comment
kalashnikov
It seems to be the "widescreen" resolution that causes the freeze. I've playing in 1024x768 (windowed) and no problem. I don't know how technically works the widescreen in PSO, since this game was designed for 4:3 aspect ratio, maybe this was causing the bug. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Lee
the widescreen resolutions take more memory to use, they are more demanding on your system, that being said combinations of things have been known to happen like using a skin in mines with higher res textures then using widescreen client would end up being too much for some systems, remember 1280x720 = 921,600 pixels, 1024x768 = 786,432, that's a significant difference Quote Link to comment

I think it was something related to my PC specifically. I'll do more tests to be sure. Edited December 28, 2013 by kalashnikov Quote Link to comment
