Happy Birthday Ultima 9th years Online!!! Nine years of been here giving a place where everyone can enjoy and play. It's been a tough year with ups and down, with new great thing such new items and new changes to the server. It's not been easy but again here we are one more year. I want to thanks every user who plays pso with us, because with out you guys Ultima ship wouldn't be online. Also thanks to all the members of the staff who works really hard during the entire year to bring new content to everyone @Soly @kajex @Fyrewolf5 @serverus @Lemon @Cyane @Auli'i who helped with great skins this year and to all member who have help us in different aspects. VAMPIRE CLOAK The cursed plague has made the leap to another nearby monster this year. While more commonly known for their ability to drain the energy of its opponents to power their offensive capabilities, the mutations have infused their hide with peculiar new defensive capabilities now too, making their pelts into a valuable commodity. GIRASOLE The legendary Girasole makes a new appearance for this event, in addition to its usual spot in Christmas Event. A powerful doublesaber prized by hunters of all types for its ability to deal devastating combos with dazzling flair, this weapon that 'draws in the power of the sun' may prove useful for combating the darkness. HALO SOUL Our spooky little halo rappies friends are also back with some nice goodies for us: Jack o' Lanterns! These mysterious Lanterns, which normally only contain various mag cells to use, now have special Costume Kits for hunters to go trick or treating with! These costumes provide neat new customizations for players to toy with, though they are generally less durable than more standard hunter garb(i.e. don't use 'maxed' gear with this). Finally we decided to offer a VoIP (voice chat) service to the players. our VoIP voice chat server is running with the most stable and best service that is currently out there. Mumble! was a pain in the ass to set it up properly (blame ZeroICE api XD lol). any way you guys wont have any problem at all to connect to the server. you only need mumble software that can be obtain from http://mumble.sourceforge.net/ download windows client. once you download just configure your speakers/mic. then add our server to your list of server. you will need the IP/domain address of the server and the port number. IP : ultimapsobb.org port: 64738 if you guys have problems doing any of the above steps. here's a how to guide with pictures. just follow that guide as reference. http://www.mumble.com/support/how-to-connect-to-a-mumble-server.php. HOW TO ENABLE Mumble OVERLAY IN PSOBB Well after some research of the overlay of Mumble i find out that the game need to call directX9 to use the overlay function of Mumble. Since the overlay is one of the great things about Mumble i really wanted to have this thing working with PSO. so after chating with Lee he gave me a great idea. To use the ENB series effects that who users created while ago. Then ENB calls Directx9, but i dont like the ENB effects. So what i did is to have the ENB on but with non special effects whatsoever. any way cut to the chase. 1. you must enable the overlay in the settings of Mumble. 2. you will need to download this file and extract the content to the root folder of PSO. psooverlay.rar -> Mirror . -> Mirror2 3. you need to add the exe of PSO to the whitelist of Mumble. (see picture) Finally if you did all the above steps you will see the overlay in the game. Overlay will show the members who are in the same room that you are in mumble and will highlight the user who is talking. as you can see in the top right hand corner, thats who i have configure my overlay. Como hablitar el overlay de Mumble en PSOBB Buenos despues de una investigaciondel over lay de Mumble, encontre que el juego necesita el directX9 para la funcion overlay, desde que overlay es la mejor funcion de MUMBLE, yo quiero que esto funcione con el PSOBB, asi que despues de un chat con Lee me dio una gran idea, de usar el effecto EMB series que fue creado hace un tiempo, entonces el EMB llama al directX9 pero no me gustan los effectos del EMB. Asi que lo que hice es poner el EMB series pero sin los effectos. Bueno al grano. 1.Debes habilitar el overlay en mumble 2.Necesitas descargar estos archivos y extraerlos en la carpeta raiz de pso. psooverlay.rar -> Mirror . -> Mirror2 3.Necesitas agregar el exe de pso en mumble en tu listablanca. Along with that other minievent that only I care about... It's time to unlearn how to hold Zanbacon's once again! Part 1 - Ultima Summer Meme Event 3: Ragol Drift It's Back! The Summer Meme Event has returned for 2017. Submit your best dank memes based on Ultima Server, whether it be Ultima specific Items, Ultima Events, or other Ultima related content. Meme submissions should preferably be based based specifically around Ultima Server and not just Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst in general. The meme events are always great, and I'm sure you all have plenty more to show off still. Prizes: Grand Prize - 1 Centurion/Battle Second Place - 1 Blood Sword, 30hit and up to 60% total divided in other attributes of winner's choice (no more than three total %'s) Consolation Prize - Special Zanbacon Swords for all participants Rules: 1. Hi, I've been playing Ultima on my windows 10 laptop for a few days, it's been running fine. I tried to install on an older desktop PC running windows vista. I get the following error message: Launcher.exe - .Net Framework Initialization Error I had played schthack's PSOBB on this vista PC for years with no problem. Anyone else experienced similar or know if I'm missing something crucial like a vista patch??

Happy 8th Anniversary -= Ultima =- Is that time of the year that we celebrate to be here. 8th years here with open doors to any enthusiastic PSO addict. During this year many changes were placed, as for example we change the game server to another dedicate server.... twice! we also moved the website to a dedicate server. The forum got themed and revamped websites tools in to it. There's no other PSOBB server older than us, we have been online the longest time than anyone else...... yet we have been criticized by others, we have been attacked literally attacked our website and server. But we keep working to keep bringing a great experience to all the player. I been here for 8th years sometimes I absent from the server for days, but that's it. i don't believe I have stop login for more than a week. Its true that I'm not alone and I'm not the one who make everything happen. I get the help of a great staff. All of them doing something different and helping in everything they can. To the staff ... Part 1 - Ultima Summer Meme Event 2: Electric Boogaloo It's Back! The Summer Meme Event has returned for 2016. Submit your best dank memes based on Ultima Server, whether it be Ultima specific Items, Ultima Events, or other Ultima related content. Meme submissions should preferably be based based specifically around Ultima Server and not just Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst in general. The first meme event was a great success, and I'm sure you all have plenty more to show off still. Prizes: Grand Prize - 1 Centurion/Battle Second Place - 1 Blood Sword, 30hit and up to 60% total divided in other attributes of winner's choice (no more than three %'s) Consolation Prize - Zanbacon Swords for all participants Rules: 1. You may submit multiple memes if you are clever enough to think of them, however you may only win one prize (i.e. can't win both 1st and 2nd place). 2. No Stealing! You must design and create your own new meme for this event. Cheating will result in disqualification from both summer minievents. 3. Nothing offensive please. Hey all, I was wondering if anyone had compiled a list of enemy counts for each of the Ultima quests? I often use http://www.phantasystaronline.net/forum/index.php/topic/6440-enemy-counts/ when trying to hunt specific things, but that doesn't include everything (notably, the Ultima quests). Specifically, I'm looking for a faster way to hunt Melqueeks than Ice Spinner (which requires 2 people). Let me know. Thanks!

Its all in the title! Im quitting, for good this time. I dont enjoy playing here anymore, really just feels like a drain on my time, money (i donated once, and urge to do it again). I just dont like how being here makes me feel now. Its becoming a problem. So, im leaving, everything i have is free to take, some of it is good, and most of it is not, if you see me on again after today, im probably just going to be in the lobby. Meh. I dont know. Its good cause this has been an issue for me for months, and its not something i can cope with any longer. You wont miss me, and for those of you that want to stay in touch, skype is an option. Many hunters have ventured forth to explore the planet, braving all the dangerous creatures and dark caves, to search for clues to the catastrophe and find any survivors. So this is just an idea I happened to have when discussing music with some people in the lobby, but I thought it might be a good idea to make a plug.dj room for Ultima members. Looks something like this: For those of you who don't know what plug.dj is, it's basically a free service where you create lobbies where users can make playlists of songs using youtube videos or soundcloud and take turns playing music for the lobby. It has a chat, a rating system for each song played, and of course, each lobby has a built in moderation system. So it isn't something that would go out of hand with people playing the same song over again or something else annoying. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else was keen on the idea of making a music sharing room for the server? https://plug.dj/ EDIT: The plug room has been made! https://plug.dj/pso-ultima Currently, the room is set to public, so anyone can join. Also the dj booth is set so anyone can use it, and it is set on a standard rotation, so users join a waitlist and can only play one song each before being rotated to the next. This is just a trial period for now and if it gets enough attention we could work in some management into the mix.

Halloween Event - 2014 Story A crazy curse has fallen upon Ragol and spread out to the ships of Ultima.
