Along with that other minievent that only I care about... It's time to unlearn how to hold Zanbacon's once again! Part 1 - Ultima Summer Meme Event 3: Ragol Drift It's Back! The Summer Meme Event has returned for 2017. Submit your best dank memes based on Ultima Server, whether it be Ultima specific Items, Ultima Events, or other Ultima related content. Meme submissions should preferably be based based specifically around Ultima Server and not just Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst in general. The meme events are always great, and I'm sure you all have plenty more to show off still. Prizes: Grand Prize - 1 Centurion/Battle Second Place - 1 Blood Sword, 30hit and up to 60% total divided in other attributes of winner's choice (no more than three total %'s) Consolation Prize - Special Zanbacon Swords for all participants Rules: 1. You may submit multiple memes if you are clever enough to think of them, however you may only win one prize from each minievent (i.e. can't win both 1st and 2nd place in meme event). 2. No Stealing! This is a very unique quest that allows players to call up several cool effects via special phrases. Hi, I've been playing Ultima on my windows 10 laptop for a few days, it's been running fine. I tried to install on an older desktop PC running windows vista. I get the following error message: Launcher.exe - .Net Framework Initialization Error I had played schthack's PSOBB on this vista PC for years with no problem. Anyone else experienced similar or know if I'm missing something crucial like a vista patch??

Happy 8th Anniversary -= Ultima =- Is that time of the year that we celebrate to be here. 8th years here with open doors to any enthusiastic PSO addict. During this year many changes were placed, as for example we change the game server to another dedicate server.... twice! we also moved the website to a dedicate server. The forum got themed and revamped websites tools in to it. There's no other PSOBB server older than us, we have been online the longest time than anyone else...... yet we have been criticized by others, we have been attacked literally attacked our website and server. But we keep working to keep bringing a great experience to all the player. I been here for 8th years sometimes I absent from the server for days, but that's it. i don't believe I have stop login for more than a week. Its true that I'm not alone and I'm not the one who make everything happen. I get the help of a great staff. All of them doing something different and helping in everything they can. To the staff ... Hey all, I was wondering if anyone had compiled a list of enemy counts for each of the Ultima quests? I often use http://www.phantasystaronline.net/forum/index.php/topic/6440-enemy-counts/ when trying to hunt specific things, but that doesn't include everything (notably, the Ultima quests). Specifically, I'm looking for a faster way to hunt Melqueeks than Ice Spinner (which requires 2 people). Let me know. Thanks!

Hey everyone, I'm not a player on this server (yet?), but seeing as how the PSOBB community has fragmented a bit I should probably share this with y'all too. I investigated the bursting screen crash on the 1.25.10+ clients that has plagued the game for years and prevented Linux and Mac support. It turns out, there were minor "optimizations" written into the texture loading routine in 1.25 that take advantage of an undocumented "feature" in d3d. League of Legends happens to use this "feature" as well. The "optimization" to texture loading are marginal at best and, naturally, break Wine because Wine is not designed to implement that undocumented feature. This patch implements a hack that simulates the expected behavior, and while it should work for any game that uses it, this has been specifically designed for PSOBB. Here is the source patch for Wine, plus some brief instructions on how to use it and what exactly it does. Controllers work, and the music at the title screen does not get garbled like on Windows 7/8/10. The game, for the most part, works as it did when it came out 11 years ago. Compiling for 64-bit Linux requires gcc-multilib or a virtual machine running 32-bit Linux. This is fairly trivial, just write a Vagrant VM script, I may write a tutorial up sooner or later.

Its all in the title! Im quitting, for good this time. I dont enjoy playing here anymore, really just feels like a drain on my time, money (i donated once, and urge to do it again). I just dont like how being here makes me feel now. Its becoming a problem. So, im leaving, everything i have is free to take, some of it is good, and most of it is not, if you see me on again after today, im probably just going to be in the lobby. Meh. I dont know. ULTIMA 7TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT It's been 7 years since we started this server, it's haven't been easy to keep the server all this years. Many people helped us during all this years. I want to thanks all members who have help during all this years many of them haven't got the recognition that they deserve, many of them are no longer here, but I got to know all the members who helped during all this years, good friends who had been in my side helping me. ULTIMA 7TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT It's been 7 years since we started this server, it's haven't been easy to keep the server all this years. Many people helped us during all this years. So this is just an idea I happened to have when discussing music with some people in the lobby, but I thought it might be a good idea to make a plug.dj room for Ultima members. Looks something like this: For those of you who don't know what plug.dj is, it's basically a free service where you create lobbies where users can make playlists of songs using youtube videos or soundcloud and take turns playing music for the lobby. It has a chat, a rating system for each song played, and of course, each lobby has a built in moderation system. So it isn't something that would go out of hand with people playing the same song over again or something else annoying. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else was keen on the idea of making a music sharing room for the server? https://plug.dj/ EDIT: The plug room has been made! https://plug.dj/pso-ultima Currently, the room is set to public, so anyone can join. Also the dj booth is set so anyone can use it, and it is set on a standard rotation, so users join a waitlist and can only play one song each before being rotated to the next. This is just a trial period for now and if it gets enough attention we could work in some management into the mix.

I'm sure many of you have seen this video Chuk made This seems extremely useful especially during events when you're encouraged to use multiple section IDs (different account). I'd definitely donate to see this come through. I don't have multiple copies of rare items like excaliber like some people do, and I don't have easy access to multiple computers so using characters on other accounts can be a pain >.<
