  1. Hello, I'm reaching out to introduce a project I'd love to develop around Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst, and I hope it might spark your interest. First of all, I'd like to express my appreciation for the amazing work you've done with Ultima. Thanks to passionate people like you, games that defined an entire generation continue to live on and bring communities together, many years after their official servers shut down. I'm a developer and creator of interactive games and tools designed for livestreamers, which I develop under the name FlickyFantasy (https://flickyfantasy.com). One of my projects is a tool called TRR Director, designed for Tomb Raider Remastered. It allows viewers watching a livestream to interact directly with the streamer's gameplay. For example, viewers can trigger enemy spawns or various in-game events through their interactions on streaming platforms such as Twitch, TikTok, Kick, or Hou.la. The idea is to turn a traditional gaming session into a participatory, sometimes unpredictable experience, where viewers are no longer just watching the action: they can directly influence how the adventure unfolds. I'd now love to explore the possibility of bringing this concept to Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst through a new tool that I could call "PSO Director." Imagine a streamer exploring the different areas of Ragol when their viewers suddenly decide to spawn additional enemies, unleash waves of monsters, or, on the contrary, help the player by making certain items appear. This could create some really fun and memorable gameplay moments, where viewer interactions bring a fresh twist to the experience, whether playing solo or cooperatively. Beyond the entertainment aspect, I find the idea of bringing such an iconic game as Phantasy Star Online into the modern streaming era particularly exciting, by introducing interactive features that simply didn't exist when the game was originally released. Livestreaming could become a new way to introduce this universe to players who have never experienced it, while offering longtime fans a fresh and original way to rediscover a game they love. What about the technical side? I've already started researching the technical feasibility of this project by exploring various development resources and modding tools available for PSO Blue Burst. There are existing tools that allow developers to create custom quests, manage enemy spawns, and modify certain game mechanics. Open-source server projects also offer some interesting possibilities for communicating with the game. These initial findings are encouraging, although some aspects still need to be tested, particularly the ability to trigger events in real time from an external application and ensure they are properly synchronized between players. That's precisely why I wanted to get in touch with you before moving further into development. Of course, my intention would never be to interfere with your server without your permission. I'd simply like to know whether this concept might interest you and whether some form of technical collaboration could be possible. For example, we could explore creating a dedicated game mode, interactive quests, or experimental sessions specifically designed for players who wish to use these features, without affecting the traditional gameplay experience of other players. If this project sounds interesting to you, I'd love to discuss the technical possibilities offered by your server, any limitations or restrictions that would need to be considered, and the different approaches we could potentially explore. I'm also very open to your suggestions and ideas. You know your server and the game's mechanics far better than I do, and your experience could be invaluable in determining what could realistically be achieved. For now, my main goal is simply to find out whether you like the idea and whether you might be interested in taking part in its development. I think it would be truly exciting to combine the preservation of such a legendary game with new forms of interactive entertainment, while respecting everything that makes Phantasy Star Online special. Thank you very much for taking the time to read my message, and above all, thank you for everything you do to keep Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst alive. I'd be delighted to hear your thoughts! FlickyFantasy
  2. Description This easy tool for sure will make feeding a mag easier by providing you a list of resources required for each level of a mag so that you achieve the perfect mag you want. I have discussed this with several users and they acknowledged that it would be a great idea to help community members of newbies that are just starting to mag feed. How it works You type in the mag name you are trying to create. The tool will search for the mag in the DB and provide you a full resource list of requirements required to create the mag. It also provides you with the ID's required to make the mag. The tool provides the resources in order from level 1-200 As you can see down below. Positivity is what keeps us going
  3. any tool out there except the dreamcast sdk conversion tools? topic says everything. would appreciate it since im trying to do that: example i allready resized the model with blender to make it fit, but i still need to add it as a .nj file. later i would put a skeleton in the model so it will move. i think it would be nice to Play as a booma or Even Olga Flow (that enemy is just an example)
  4. Started working on this project again. This new one is a little better. It doesn't read quests that were designed prior to PSOBB, so that's the next step. How to work it: Extract the executable to the folder with your quests. Run the executable Open the output.csv table that will hold all monster counts for all BB quests in that folder and subfolders. Smile. <---- required Download link: https://mega.nz/#!KVBGwKrZ!w0zDSY8-LE-VQVFAFbkLJpvejVntsx6Ubdm7_OmOmmA
