Yes, when I go to log in it says invalid credentials, even though I'm using what I just set up

I made a game account, and validated it through my email. When I go to log in it says the information is incorrect, though I know it is what I put in. I was able to change my password to something else through a reset password link, but still can't log in. When I tried to register again it says my username and e-mail are already in use. When I try to do "forgot password" and it asks for my email, the message says it doesn't recognize that email. Any thoughts?
